Yes it does make the ATV run better and lowers the engine temp I would only recommend it for stock setup though as I'm not completely happy with mine although I did inform the flasher before what mods I have done, it may not be entirely the flashers fault as I have since done some investigating and I think the air box is the problem to restrictive

I did notice a pause in the rpm not sure exactly whereabouts as I never looked, I do know that alot of the problems I had with it went after disconnecting the cannister!

Thanks my wife Has the 2021 Polaris 570 trail and dealer told her 87 is fine and manual confirms it, I was supposed to get the touring 1000 Polaris but hard to come by in GA on top of the shortage, the manual for that says 87 is fine for that as well

So it's a bit annoying I only get 18mpg but that is off road adventure playground. I would like to do the Hatfield McCoy touring and need better mpg

CForce 800 XC / 87 Octane
July 11, 2021, 06:45:27 PM
Hi Is anyone using 87 octane in there 800Xc the reason I ask is the owners manual recommends 91 but the plaque on the back near the 2" receiver says 87 minimum. So I wondered what people were using?

My wifes Polaris runs on 87 and with the current prices I would rather use it!

I watch there YouTube channel but I haven't seen a video on removing the front plastics that I need to remove to access the steering column.
However I did have another look at it today and it looks like I maybe able to access it by just removing the plastic in the wheel wells so will give it ago when I get a tool to pop up those plastic poppers

unfortunately the service manual I downloaded isn't for the 2021 model and its different, I cant find one online, I'm not sure why they didn't put this info in owners manual.

Hi Everyone

new member to the forum and a proud 800XC owner (at least after sorting out the cutting out)

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to remove the front plastics to be able to access the sterring column. I know how delicate the plastics are so don't waht to damge anything?
