Here is a link to a removal tool and a hundred push pins for less than $13 bucks. Also just search this site with "push pins". Good idea to have a few extras on hand.

Welcome to a world of knowledge.

Wouldn't it be a great thing if the manufacturer would include one or two spare wires when building these harnesses? That is standard practice in the electrical industry and large bundles they might add 5-10% spares. It would probably add a buck to their cost for a couple spares, so cost savings always wins out.

Congrats on replacing the harness yourself. Well done, Stan

We are in the central part of Florida. About 120 miles south of Tampa and Orlando. We live in Lake Placid which is just south of Sebring. Nothing but white sand here and the trails are through pine trees and oak scrub brush. Hardly any hilly area at all so mostly just loose sand. We can run the creeks a little but if we want something different we can trail the machines over to Okechobe area which has some swamp riding.

It is pretty flat around here but the game is plentiful. Lots of wild hogs, bobcats, deer, a few black bear though they are protected. Had an adult bear walk within 100 feet of me about a month ago. This is our first year of being full time of Fla. and it gets plenty hot and rains almost every day in the summer.

Have fun this fall in the Baldwin area. Fall colors are great there. Stan

Been up in that area many times bow hunting near Caddilac, Walhalla, Baldwin, Luther, nice country. We were from SW Mi. in St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area. Son goes to that area with motocross bikes often. Thanks for the video of your adventure. Good to see some footage of my home state. We see lots of sand and pine here in Florida. Stay safe and have fun slinging sand.

Hey Y'all from Florida. Welcome to the group. A great bunch of guys here and a wealth of info on CFMOTO's. Check out the posts for ideas for accesories that suit your preference. A few of us like to make stuff so maybe some ideas in that area.

Added little spring loaded safety latches to the safety bar. The bar was just a friction fit, but the passengers had hold of it when we went oner a pot hole and the bar popped out on one end. Both were using the safety lap belts so no harm done. Easy and cheap fix. I bought 4 of these latches for about $7.50.

Welcome and nice looking scooter. Your son will be begging to drive in no time. I'm from SW Michigan, but now permanently in Florida. Small sand hills here and some forrest trails. Have fun.
