General Discussion / UForce 500 EPS Rattle
July 06, 2021, 01:16:54 PM
I've for a 2016 UForce 500 EPS, not the original owner, with a rattle in the rear when I accelerate. At idle the rattle doesn't exist. I've discovered a thread here about it possibly being the muffler hangers, any other ideas?  Thanks in advance.

I looked at a 2016 UForce 500 EPS this weekend; 1793 miles, and they want 5K for it. Just looking to see what kind of opinions you might have on them. Also can someone explain what seems to be a 2 step process to use the 4WD? You push one button then slide over a lever, then press another button? Your not in 4WD when you push the first button?

Welcome. I think I would first check KBB on value...which looks to be 6435 so you are good there. On the 4WD, yes, when you press the first button you are in 4WD. The second step is called "diff-loc" which locks the two front axles together so the differential action is stopped.

Thanks! OK not to be dense, but if you press the first button and "your in 4WD" then what does locking the diff do?  Also any comments on teh UForce 500 its self? Is it a good side by side?
Basically turns a differential into a solid axle. Without it the one tire with the least traction will spin..but with it on both are locked together.

Thanks, you'd think they could do that with one button. LOL.
