Not sure who all has the 800xl but overall I am pretty happy with the machine.  I will be getting a video on youtube up of an over all of the machine but so far pretty happy for what the machine is.   I have just over  900miles on it and will be at 1000 miles soon.  The riding I do with machine is not ruff but not easy.  We got this to haul my kiddos and dog around so I ended up putting kiddo seats in the back.  Ive done few poker runs on the machine. Slow crawling. It lives in life in low range.  (fuel mpg ) is terrible lol.  But the V-TWIN does pretty darn good for the weight of the machine. 

Mods to buggy include
- canvas cover off of 1000xl
- 2" wheel spacer all around (used to a wider machine)
- diesel heater in the bed for winter riding
- Biggest upgrade was an RNG belt ----- best thing ever for the buggy (oem was slipping at 100 miles)

top speed run the buggy has gone 68 mph.  next mod will be a lift kit this late spring early summer before I do more poker runs.  I was going to upgrade the tires but I like the 27"

Added rear chase light in back of the machine. I used the license plate mount to had a spot fog combo light.  It turns on when I put my driving lights on.   It doesn't effect the tail lights and turning signals.

These days there is a lot that goes into them...even the Chinese systems..for correct back pressure, dBs and even catalytic converter. Changes will force you to re-flash the ECM or at least add a programmer.

yeah that is the plan to get the computer reflashed in the long run. the 800xl has some wonky throttle issue when holding steady.

Good morning. Just wanted to stop in and say I am a new CF moto owner and have purchased 800xl. so far decently happy with the machine.  few mods already tip out glass and added the turning signals and 4 ways.  hardest part was getting the relay in place.
