Hello i just acquired a 2024 Uforce 1000 with 18 hours on it. It was part of a recent major flood we had this year and i am in the process of getting it cleaned up and back in action. Upon reviewing the machine for water damage i found that the dash turns on and functions, the lights and winch function and all of the fuses and relays are intact and still in working condition. There is a no start/crank condition on the machine and the work/normal mode button does not work. I evaluated the ECU and noted that there was one of the small pins in the larger ecu connector that had corroded as well as overheated and broke/melted off. I was able to remove and depin the wire from the connecter and remove the broken pin from the harness with no damage to the harness. I am looking to buy a new ECU to put in the machine in hopes that it will work again. Looks like a new ECU is around $699. I did see one used 2021 ECU for sale on eBay and i am curious if that ECU would work on a 2024? My thoughts are that the 2021 may have had different functions and features than the 2024 and it likely has a different tune programmed along with possibly different pin configurations? looking for some guidance on if a 2021 ecu would work on a 2024 model? it would save me some money ultimately. Thanks in advance!
