Thanks Vucko,
I tried it but cannot get it right so now I have a couple of question:  Is this procedure for an ATV?  I don't have a twist throttle but have a thumb throttle.  Also my kill switch is actually a push button; once it is depressed the fuel pump works, once the switch is released it does not pum gasoline anymore.   I have attached a picture of my ECU for reference.

Could it be a faulty ECU?  I am having multiple problems that might be related.  The speedometer stopped working during breaking in period, the dealer replace the entire display unit and speed was fixed yet it only lasted 10 kilometers then it died again.  The odometer does not work at it has been stuck on a number for ever.  The brake light does not always comes on when applying the brakes.  The running signal lights some times remain steady on instead of actually blinking.  To top it off now that EFI light blinks the minute I turn the key.... all this many what seems to me like electrical failures could indicate a bad ECU.

Thanks, the manual talks about the EFI light having 3 different modes.  I don't know how to change the modes as it seems complicated involving a K line (not sure what that is) from the ECU to the ground.  Guess im out of luck yet hopefully the dealer has that PDA diagnose tool.  Gotta give the a call.

CForce 400/450 / EFI light on

Have a new issue with my machine.  Today after maybe 30 mins on dirt road, the EFI light starters flashing.  I stoped and turne the machine off.  (Thought it might be overheating even-thought the temp. gauge displayed only 2 bars so normal operating temperature).   Came back after enough time had passed and as soon as I put the crank the ignition to the on position the EFI light flashes continuously, it never makes a pause, it never stops, it does not goes steady on and it does not turn off either.  Tuner the engine on it everything seems to be functioning normally, there is no unusual noice, no loss of power, no crazy temperatures nothing I could detect.  Drove back home with the light blinking and parked the machine.    Cannot find anything about a constantly flashing EFI light.  Any ideas?

Thanks

Hey ArcticExploring that looks like fun but I don't think I can deal with it.  Here in Ecuador it never snows....I hardly gets cold and with cold I mean something like 10 Celsius hahaha. Cool video.

Thanks Skogsvarelse I am ordering an Ultimax belt.  I'll be happy if I get anywhere near your 8 to 10000 kilometers.     Once I get the necessary tools I'll be able to meticulously inspect and measure my original belt that so far has less that 1000 kilometers.  Hopefully it still has some life in it but im really not holding my bread over it hahaha.

Thanks NMKawierider I will check the clutches too.  I am right now placing an order for the necessary tools to be able to take the clutch apart yet since im in Ecuador the importing process is gonna take some time, maybe 15 days, and  until then my baby sits lonely and untouched in the garage lol.  Once I get the tools I will report back with any findings.    Also really appreciate the detail picture that really shows what to look for.

Well with this mistake of getting the system wet and mud everywhere, plus the not drying it immediately after and actually running the machine for a long time until the belt started slipping Im pretty sure I diminished the useful life on my belt....still not a tragedy but it has being a good learning experience.  From now on I will check it more often and specially after a wet ride.

Thanks  NMKawierider.... that's a starting point that I will be sure to check.   What is the proper way for the one way bearing?  Should it follow the same rotation than the belt? (looking at the ATV that would be clockwise I believe).

CForce 400/450 / Clutch Issue
February 27, 2021, 12:41:51 AM
I got my ATV stuck in the mud and everything was underwater for over an hour.  The CVT assembly was definitively under water and when I opened it up to check it I discovered there was mud everywhere.  I took apart only the primary clutch to give it a deep clean yet was  unable to take the secondary clutch apart since I do not have the proper size socket.  I cleaned everything from the baked mud and after reassembling and testing the machine  I now have the problem that the clutch is always engaged and the belt is never fully released.  This makes it impossible to switch gears while the engine is running.  I have to turn the engine off to be able to move the gear selector and put it in the desire gear before turning the engine on.  Once I get moving there is no problem and the machine works just fine.  I did put all the parts back in the right order, including both the nylon and the steel washer in the primary clutch.  I was thinking about staking more washers to have more tension to be able to push the clutch plate away and release the belt.  Is that a good idea to try?  What else could be done to solve this issue?  Can you thing of anything else that can be causing this little issue?   Any help is greatly appreciated.
