You say the 5/8s will be a little loose. It wont be loose enough to cause me problems will it?Will it rattle, make weird noises ,cause me steering problems or what?
I may not need 6 feet but that's what they come in unless i want to go longer.Even if i use cf moto bushings which im going to will they help the looseness.
I like the idea of the thin stuff your talking about. It wasen't artic cat it was can am.I looked on thier web side and nothing.

This searching for some thing close to what the sleevs should be is getting kinda tire some. But i'm determind to find it.
What iv'e found this time and i'm pretty sure it will work is this.
5/8s OD x 6ft long alloy steel.The ID is 0.435 which calculates to 11.049 mm with a 0.095 wall.
Please tell me that this will work???? You have said that CF moto took a few idea's from artic cat or ? I still haven't looked thier. .

I got my sway bar bushings and wasen't sent what i orderd.I was sent
Part#95159 which came without the grease zerk. But they sent me like 5 small plastic vials of special grease.I orderd it from energy suspension.
I'm just going to keep them and use them.
When i talked to the lady at on line metals and told her i needed a piece of pipe 5/8s od with a 10mm id it threw her off mixing the mm and standard measurements.
They had the 5/8s od but no 10mm.Then she said something about .39 which i dont understand .39.I can buy the sleeve material in 6ft lengths.
She had no idea what a side x side was.So ,what is .39. The pipes wall is 1/8 thick.
NMK...I take it that you replaced all of your sleevs

The wear washers might not be 100% a have to use but i can understand the why and reason behind it.There a good idea.
I'm going to search for them to see what i can find. How thick is the final product?
Couldn't i use delron/delrin for the bushings or are they not hard enough?

I went to the how to section and watched your video.I'm more of a see it guy so the videos helped me a great deal.
The last set of washers you put on each end of the a arm did you have to make them or were you able  to find them.
Now that i'm doing certain things im finding out that some parts are hard to find.

while i was diggin around on the computor last night i came across
these to places and you might want to check them out.

Mc master-car.com  online metals.com valley city products.com
They seem to have a wide selection of steel tubeing and other type of spacer material.Could a good hard plastic type be used and it be ok.And if not should i use just steel tubeing.
the places i found have a few different type of metals.

Your just a wealth of knowledge about this cf moto stuff plus i'm
sure you have a great deal of time invested since you do your own repairs and mods.
Right now the cfmoto parts house has the blue bushings on sale for $239.I still think it's way to much but i just want to get this done with out any problems.
I re read your last post and you said i can get the metal spacers from E bay or Amazon and cut them myself. How would i word the search.
I don't mean to be a poa,and i'm sure you have better things to do.        Thank you......Bob

Thank you for sending the pictures.I like what you have done.
As far as measureing the bar i don't have calipers to do that with.
do you remember the size of your bar or the part # from prothane.
I'm sure that the bars are the same so what ever you orderd would work on my 2018 zforce trail 800.
I also looked all over the internet for a arm bushings both front and rear an could not find anything but from cfmoto. And deep down i had a feeling i was not going to find them after market.
I took your original 7/8s and it converts to 22.225 mm.
If i go up a mm bigger that would put me at 23.
I'm sure a few of the metal sleevs might be bad,Did you have to replace any?

Nmk.I have done alot of searching on the computor once again looking for sway bar bushings after i read your answer to my post.I did run onto a post from you from 10-21-15 about you having to use a round file on some bushings that were to tight.
But you did put on some polyurethane or prothane bushings.
The one bushings were 7/8s inch typr B bracket.
What im after if you have it is the part # and who you bought you final set of bushings from?
I also have a feeling i'm going to need to replace all of  the bushings both front and rear.Winters coming and it will give me something to do.
I could not find a complete bushing kit with the sleevs.
I'm realey needing some help finding these parts.
From reading earlier posts i know there are other cf moto people
who have done thier bushings,PLEASE chime in.
I thank you all very much for your time.

I have been searching for bushings for my sway bar.2018 c f moto z force trail 800.
I came across an old post from NMK with some red bushings.
Great post by the way.
I'm wondering if thier are any bushings or any thing i can use for the 2 sway bar links.I did find them on the the cf moto parts page for 50.00 each plus the shipping which we know is outrageous.
Plus i'm thinking on just buying a complete bushing kit but not the 299.00 one from the cfmoto parts house.
I needed to be pointed in the right direction to spend as less $ as
i need to.  Thanks guys

I did end uo getting a manual grease gun.It came with a 12'' hose so i bought a 18''one and a cheap lock n lube. The lock n lube works great and a great investment.

Been thinking about one with all the stuff that needs greased but just haven't settled on one yet. Not sure I need a 250-dollar one. Got two manual pumps-one hand-type, one arm-type that still work fine.. just sometimes awkward. Really want one of those clip-on "LocknLube" ends that stay on and won't come off until released first.
