I should become a salesmen for CFMOTO LOL.... only one I could find at the Gladwin ORV Fest was mine, but there may be more next year! Talked to lots of people about my Z500 Trail and how much I loved it! Even had to use 4 wheel Lock for the first time. No issues getting through the mud hole!

Thinking About Buying a CFMOTO? / Re: Z8 or the Z5??
August 07, 2017, 12:26:13 PM
I just went though this recently. I came from a group of friends that rode lifted golf carts for years on the trails and back roads until this year when everyone started replacing them with ATVs. Found out quickly that a golf cart cannot go through the same trails and keep up with the ATV guys. I really was not interested in spending the big bucks on a loaded up Arctic Cat or Polaris .... so started doing my deep dive research into the CFMOTO Z500 / 800. Asked the same question you have multiple times on multiple forums and my dealer and basically got the same response you have received.
I was lucky to be in the area of a great dealer (Emerson@Harrison Power Sports in Michigan), this was more of a priority for me than the price as you will have some type of issue sooner or later (with any ATV) and I wanted to make sure the shop was more than capable of fixing them. In the end I decided on the Z500 and have not regretted it so far. You have to look at your own situation and what kind of riding you will do, if $$$ is no issue go big or go home - lol. I love the 500, so far it has not let me down and has plenty of power and speed for me and the wife.

SuperATV has a real nice box for the Zs. I just wend with this diamond plate box.

Still looks OK.
The Amazon link for your storage box display a product that is 32"L, 12"W and 12" Tall. Is that the actual one you bought and shown in your picture. The box in your picture looks like it may be taller than 12"

How To's (New Topics are to be Instructional Only) / Re: One option for CVT filter on a Z8
July 24, 2017, 01:37:13 PM
Thanks for the reply .... I didn't find anything about this filter at all in the Operator or Service manuals. Maybe since its so coarse of a filter its not meant to be cleaned (that often), it was not plugged up by any means just dusty. Maybe its only meant to stop large particles from getting in??

Is the filter that is located behind the drivers seat the CVT filter? I have the twin air filter in the air box but I noticed this weekend when I removed my drivers seat there was a small removable vented panel with a coarse type filter, was not a paper filter. I took it out and blew the dust out of it and stuck it back. Not much of a filter.

ZForce 500/550 / Fuse Block Z500
July 19, 2017, 11:36:13 AM
I have looked three times so far and cant seem to find it. So I know its located by the steering column, however I still cannot seem to locate it. Is it accessible from the interior, can you see it if your looking up from say the gas / brake pedals? Or do you need to access it from under the hood / storage compartment. From owners manual ... The fuse box is located in front of the steering column.

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / Re: spare tire mount
July 13, 2017, 10:34:07 AM
How did you pop the bead back into place on the trail with just the basics? With my old cart I always carried a spare tire and bottle jack to replace tire ... but never needed to. I am a bit concerned about the 2-ply tires. I have plugs and a compressor but was thinking about getting a spare tire / rim to mount as well.

Seems maybe there are more active posters on the two larger facebook groups ... CFMOTO Owners and CF Moto USA Power Syndicate. Would be nice if they posted here as well. Always preferred forum sites over facebook groups myself. Have any of the admins posted this forum link on these facebook groups?
