Just curious.
When are you doing this trip and where ?For the just incase you might want to think about taking 50ft or so of good rope.

General Discussion / Changing the steering wheel.
April 24, 2024, 08:18:37 PM
Just to personalize my 2018 cf moto zforce trail i have been doing and adding small things to it.
I just got the D shape carbon fiber looking steering wheel and want to change it in the next few days.I watched a u tube video of one being changed by the guy on red neck garage and it looked pretty straight forward. He did not use a new adapter.
Has anyone on this site changed thiers and did you have to use a adapter?
If so what kind and where did you buy it?
Thanks guys.    Steering wheel part # if anyone is interested. I got it off EBAY.

General Discussion / Adding brake fluid.

Now that the warmer weather is here it's time to look over the 2018 zforce 800 and get some things done.
I was looking at where the break fluid reservour is and what a dumb place to put it.
My ? is.......How do you add brake fluid when needed or is it just easier to take the front trunk out.I noticed 6 screws to remove .

Haven't been on the board much but if this is a safety issue i'm sure it's coverd.
Is this coverage good till the end of 2024 and what years?

Smitty thank you very much for the post. Filling them up to the brim of the filler holes is alot easier than measuring ounces.
I will jot this down in my book i keep repair information in.
Plus i get to save money on the diff lube.

If i remember right it does not say fill to spill.I did see some where on the forum that it said to fill to the bottom of the filler hole. But i might be wrong and probly am.
If by chance you know the measurements for each i sure do need them. All i have is the book that is provided and i have the buggy stored for the winter.
Thank you............Bob

General Discussion / Kawi brute force 750
October 03, 2023, 12:47:15 PM
I know this post (question)is off subject of cf moto.I was told it would be ok.I will do the short version.
Bought a 06 Kawi brute force 750 a few months ago.My son n law did the transaction cause i had other stuff to do.
He picks it up ,gets it home and first thing i do is check the oil ,it's barely reading on the dip stick.
Put some oil in it take it out for the day get back oil is low again.
Put it in the shop the guy couldn't find any leaks so he says.
a few days ago my son n law says the air  filter is real wet with oil.
I'm wondering what could possibly be wrong ?
I'm no mechanic but i'm thinking that the rings are bad and the air filter is getting blow by.
Any suggestions would help .

Last night while looking for for bushings for my 2018 cf moto z force trail i ran on to a sight that sells a complete kit with the metal sleevs and the price is under $100.00.Plus it has all kinds of
cf moto stuff at a great price. It's a site that the stuff comes from China as far as i know. The bushings are the black ones so i figure that thier ok.
www.Alie exspress.com is the sight.
I have bought stuff from wish and temu without any problems.
Just to make sure this sight is legit i orderd a $10.00 item to see if i get it.I did notice that they had all kind's of parts for the cf moto brand.
It might we worth taking a look at the site.

I haven't ridden the buggy in a few weeks.2018 zforce trail.
I do not do hot weather riding and have been waiting for it to cool down some.
Plus i was useing a friends trailer and he needed it back.So for the buggy i went and bought a 6 ft x 12 ft nice aluminum trailer.I'm sure it will be happy to see the mountains again.
It wasen't brand new but i and my Son N Law jason spent awhile looking it over while asking questions. The price was fair so i pulled the trigger.I like the real lite rear ramp.
That is what i did for my cfmoto today.

NMK.
I can not thank you enough for all of your help with this bushing thing.
You would think that someone would come up with a good after market sleeve and bushing kit that won't rob your wallet.
It's people like you who make this site a great place.
If your interested this is where i found the material.
MSC metal supply. thier # is 1-800-645-7270. Maybe this might help others.
Thank you so much again..
