October 07, 2020, 08:56:36 PM
Well not this past weekend but this Sunday will be at mines and meadows for my 3rd time and with the wife this time. Took each daughter the other two times. Will be her first time and ride in the 950.

Going to mines and meadows this weekend and will try to run it in high gear and see if it gets between, but the crawling, mud, and never realy getting over 15 mph might put me back in 2 wheel low.

No havent done anything to it yet. Going to wait till after break in period is over so i not tempted to "test" it out.

Hardest think i found is having to give it gas to keep it slow. Once u get to a certain point the transmission free spins and you speed up. So have to keep giving it gas to keep cvt in-gaged to keep you slow.

At mines and meadows in PA its all tight wooden muddy trails so dont get above 15 mph most of the time, so stay in low to climb hills, get through mud, and keep the belt good. Plus manual says to. The couple places to get over 15 u might get to 21-25 for couple seconds before dropping to a crawl again.

How long you need one and what would come from providing one? With winter coming wont be doing much riding and only 6 hours away if thats something you guys do.

Whiterabbit in low gear im running about the same. Thats why i asked the question to start. Im tracking about 9 gallon tank so. With 2 bars left if i add a full 5 gal can it will over flow before the can is empty. So if around 40 miles is alittle over or around half thats still around 70-80 to the tank and only 7-9 mpg.  Just dont seem right. Hoping climbing hills in low gear and spending all day in low gear and under 18 mph is the reason

How is the campground? With that many miles of trails and 2.5hr away. Staying over a night or two sounds that best way to go. Like the week the wife and 2 daughter sync and im scared to go home.
