By the way. On my ex the tires stuck out a few in past the fenders already. So maybe just maybe it wont be too much worse. I've got my fingers crossed haha

Oh I will. We have been covered both rides already haha. Mostly dust where we ride. But first ride I knocked both drive side off. We were pretty dirty. But with helmet goggles and now a windshield hopefully things will go better haha. We take some clean clothes in a dry bag we use for kayaking. So a quick change after load up and all is fine. Flipped cargo net up to cove back cage opening to keep big debris from coming in from behind. Hopefully we will be going back out on it about the 11th or so. Got some camping planned before then. I'll make sure I get a picture before we change so you can get your chuckles in haha

Man I'd be willing to trade some ex fenders for some lower doors haha. We drive slow mostly. Mud though dont care how slow you drive haha. We will take it out in a few weeks and will love it or hate it. We will see

Oh for sure. But I'm looking for some doors or half door inserts. Think that will help quite a bit. Maybe I'm wrong. Had anyone on here built there own? If so, do you have a pdf or scetch or pic? Pretty handy at building stuff but dont want something cheesy looking. At least that's what the better half keeps telling me haha

When I went to dealer to exchange shocks one of the employees had his white 800 ex there and I was sold. He had the same lift with 30 in tires. He had removed the fenders and wow it looked tough. So I copied haha. Now I just need to find some tires

Well called dealer and they are gonna replace it. Took some photos and they said I could pull it and bring just the shock so I didn't have to haul whole machine 45 min away.
I looked at bandit and they dont have any in stick and no pricing. The only Elka shocks I saw were stage 3 and around 2 grand. Would like to upgrade eventually but dag gum that's high. That's more expensive than the fox 2.0s I put on my Ford Ranger.

Took the zforce out to windrock this weekend and now one of the front shocks are leaking. Where can I get upgraded ones? Will Razor shocks fit?

Yeah you have to modify the fronts. Easy to do with an angle grinder. I will grab some pics for you when I get a chance. I'm gonna pop a few welds on mine since I'm kinda rough on it haha. But not necessary. Could just drill a few bolt holes. There's a good video on YouTube. I used it to see how th o do it. Took just a few hours and results look awesome

After sorting out steering wheel issue. I also found the toe was off. Drove straight but front of tires was about a half inch wider than rear so adjusted the toe till tire were straight. Then thanks to another forum member I ordered the RZR 2 inch lift brackets. Looks awesome.

General Discussion / Re: Steering wheel is upside down
May 23, 2021, 06:06:27 AM
All the bolts didnt seem super tight. They broke loose real easy. I assumed that was the problem. It did take a few hard hits that day. I didn't see anything bent on the rack. Should you not be able to see that flat cut out. I slide that spline with the exposed flat spot till it was flush with the bottom of the joint on the inside. The one on the bottom at the actual steering box was the only one I saw that didnt have a half circle or flat spot cut in it. So I slid it up turned the wheel but evidently the wheel weren't straight so steering wheel is still side ways. Guess I can tear it back down and try again haha. Just was trying to find a lazy ass fix haha. Sometimes I have to tell myself to quit being lazy. Upon tightening these though any play in the steering is now gone. It was a little sloppy when I first bought it why assumed the loose u joints were the problem. I really appreciate all the input guys. Any more will be great as well.

I pried them open to check splines but steering wheel is still off. More side ways than upside down at this point. Just hard to get I right position by myself. Used some wd40 to get it to finally move. Just can't get the damn wheel straight. thought it would be easier to just pull the steering wheel. Because it's still a booger to get that joint to move. But is this even possible before I break yet another nut loose on this brand new machine haha?
