I also did the penny adjustments on my primary, and you are correct that they are not all the same. Pennys made before 1983 weigh 3.11g ( googled it, it's true) I did weigh each one I used to make sure they were the same, all were newer ones at 2.5 g which was perfect to make all my weights 15g when I added 2. After putting some miles on I decided it grabbed a little low so I did remove 1 from every other one and now I think it's perfect, so if you do the math ill need 13.75g weights, so I think I'll be looking to get a set of weights so they all match, you made a good point, thanks

Before I bought a trailer I would back mine in, seemed to keep a little more weight more forward and a little less off the gate straps, it's a 500 but it's gotta be pretty close in weight

WOW!! Took your advise on the penny's, holy crap, it's like I bought a new machine, no more revving to 3k and slamming the belt, I can cruise the trails without the machine feeling like it's vibrating apart and I still have a top speed of 52, which is fine by me, between the C1 setting on the secondary and the penny's under each weight (I put 2 on each, yes there's room)all the rpm issues are fixed, I'm leaving it just like it is, none of my other machines take off so smooth-like it's supposed to, you guys are great, thanks for all the advise, I hope some other 600 owners try the same thing, and the best thing is- it only cost 12 cents, 2 penny's = 5 grams, use newer ones, old ones weigh more

Still curious on the rpm issues on these 2020 600's, pulled it off and weighed the slider weights, 10G's? That would explain a lot if most others come with 25G's, am I missing something here??

Only had time to take it for a quick blast but it's definitely different, pulls much better off the line and seems more comfortable putting in low speeds, still at 5k @ 20-25 mph and still hit 53 before I ran out of room, Couldn't see rpm, I'll try to get out soon For longer but we're supposed to get some heavy rain the next few days (boy do we need it) thanks again nmk for saving me on that B3 setting, I'm getting a better understanding how these work now that I've had it apart

Ok so I pulled the 2020 600 apart and found it is set at B-1, I gotta go get some all thread and make a tool now but I think I'm gonna go to B-3 like the guy in the real sports video and see where it goes from there, no markings on the weights but not color coded either- see pics, any other advise while I got it apart?

Me and my son both bought 2020 600 single seats, both have the exact issues as yours, bought my wife a 19 600 2up for Xmas and only has the gas gauge issue, read empty at 1/2 tank, so I took the sender out and bent the float rod to read more accurate, I haven't taken the 2020's apart yet but I've never put more than 2 1/2 gallons in when they read empty, as far as the rpm issue it feels like the 19 and the 20 have different clutch setups, yes they run at higher rpm at just cruising but when you punch it seems like it accelerates quickly with not a whole lot more rpm. My Z500 is also a totally different feel, clutch grabs at a way lower rpm and uses no gas at all, I figured all the dry clutch setups would be pretty much the same but I'm sure there's a lot more to it than I understand, would reclocking or changing weights lower the rpm mabe? NMK?

I got my bandit springs delivered today, can't wait to put them in this weekend, but first, which ones are the rear? They sent a tall wide coil spring and a shorter tight coiled spring, tried to post a pic but didn't work, I'm guessing the taller wide coil?

That's where I bought it, real nice people there, and they gave me a much better deal than the guys in ma with no sales tax too, didn't call them yet, a friend said the bubbling when low was probably just the return, just filled it up all the way, gonna keep track of how much it uses, ive been known to be wrong once or twice before

My bad on the description, with key on, fuel pump running, gas is circulating real fast inside the tank, tried to post a video but didn't work. Just didn't look normal, I'll call the dealer and see if they can look at one they have there, more concerns about fuel consumption, I'll see what they have to say but not open till Tuesday, Seems like you guys are open 7 days 😁

CForce 600 , X6 / Bad mileage?
January 12, 2020, 07:48:45 AM
So my wife has 40 miles on her c600 since Xmas and has used close to 7 gallons of gas, keep in mind we're in our 50's and like to have fun but don't drive like animals, my z5 will go forever on that amount of fuel. No smoke, no running issues, just using a lot of fuel in my opinion, also pulled the cap off to look how much was in there because the light was flashing and the gas looked like it was boiling very fast. Sound normal? Thanks
