General Discussion / Wheel bearings..Front and rear.
September 14, 2024, 12:29:35 PM
I figure since imm doing my A arm bushings on the 2018 zforce trail 800
i might as well replace the wheel bearings.Plus i will take a look at the U joints
and carrier bearing.
I did look thru 99% of the forum posts looking for part #s for the wheel bearings but found very little i could use.
I'm sure that alot of you have replaced your wheel bearings.
If you would share the part #s for both front and rear that would sure help.Is thier a size difference in the bearings? Thank you very much    Bob

After spending a great deal of time on the computer looking for
a place that sells A arm bushings for the cfmoto zforce and uforce
i finally found one. This is what they have bushings for.
2019-2022 U force 1000
2013-2022 U force 800
2016-2021 U force 500
2015-2022 Zforce 800 trail and ex
2016-2022 Zforce 500
They also sell what looks like a wheel bearing.
They are polyurathane and come with the steel spacer.
The price is a bit stiff at $350 plus shipping.
I myself think this is a decent price considering they come
with the steel sleeve.Plus no cutting or glueing and messin around
getting some thing else to fit.
.Here is the information.
dkoffroad.ca      780-238-3684 I hopes this helps .

General Discussion / Re: A arm bushings and steel rod?
August 31, 2024, 05:02:56 PM
My Quest has been full field.
I have been looking for a arm bushings for my 2018 zforce trail 800 for a real long time.Usually when i get on the computor to look i will spend 3-4 hours till i get burnt out and sick of looking. This time it was worth every minute.
I FOUND a arm bushings and the metal sleeve for the cfmoto,I am just stoked.
The price for them is a bit steep $350.00 but they do come with the steel spacer rod and are polyurathane which means they will last.
The company who had them are DKoffroad.ca  780-238-3684.I take it thier in Canada.
I did send them a message asking a few questions and hope to hear back from them.

Good looking machine.I like the idea of the head sets good idea.
It beats yelling CAN you hear me now.
When i had quads we would use voice activated 2 way radios which worked great.

General Discussion / A arm bushings and steel rod?
August 27, 2024, 08:46:52 PM
I was suppose to have replaced my A arm bushings last year 2018 zforce 800 trail about this time.
Never happend, didn't even order the parts. Some things are beyond our control and
happen.
Anyway.....I'm going to try this again.
I went back and looked at alot of old posts of others useing polaris bushings after they were modified,I do not want to go that route.
I've spent the last few days looking for a complete bushing kit with the metal inner rod that goes into the bushing.Thier are not alot of choices pickins are very slim.
This is what i found.
Ali express has a complete kit bushing and rods at a decent price, shipping is a bit stiff but what ya gonna do.The bushings are black in color which makes me think they could be the cheap ones that came stock.
The other ones are the blue or what ever color that is and are polyurethane which from what i read are the way better ones.I do know that if i could find Delrins that would be the way to go.The polyurethanes do not come with the steel sleeve and i would like to replace them.
Not finding them i'm guessing i'm going to buy a steel pipe and cut my own.
Now a few posts that i seen from the past others have gone this direction with succes.
Does ANYONE know of a supplier that has the pipe or where i can get the rods .
NMK..........You gave me the size of pipe i will need last year, both OD and ID for the bolt.
Could you please do it again,i cant find my notes.
Sorry for such along post.

These are the oil filters that will work with the MR.RPM spin on adaptor.
FRAM ph5166-ph4386-ph4937-ph2951-ph4967.
WIX 51389-51396-57145-51394.Penzoil pz38.PUROLATER L14477.
NAPA 1396.STP S-4967.MGD-MGL 57145.Get this one at O riley auto parts.
I have gone to useing the the super Tech brand of synthetic oil and filters
which is good oil plus 1/2 the price.
The fram #s of the filters are the same on the super tech filters just no PH.
I don't know if this will help you but i hope so.

I take it that when you got the Mr RPM adaptor you got the Baldwin filter with it.
I asked NMK about oil fillters and he sent me a list of them.
I have the list and will look for it and have some filter #s for you tonight if no one
steps up.I did try to cross reference Baldwin and that was a waste of time.

General Discussion / Re: Taking the bed off?
August 03, 2024, 02:43:18 PM
I agree with the video when someone gets ready to tackle it.
Seems like the back of the cab on the inside is part of bed removal but does not
seem to hard.If i decide to take on this project it will take some time from
start to finish.
what i use for a push pin remover is a tack remover mine is an older one with the
wood handle.Great neck tools makes one also.
I tool a dremel and widend the v part to fit the stem of the pin and tape the metal part as to not scar the
plastic.It works good for me.
I was thinking about useing some screw type of pins that might be easier to remove.

I figured if anyone might have done it and knew about it NMK would
be the go to for it.I have looked things over real good and can already tell
that i'm going to destroy push pins.I looked for the allen bolts and couldn't see
any but i'm sure  they are thier.I will keep an eye on the bolt sizes as i remove them.
The push pins 8 mm i got off temu or wish and they fit good.

I'm wanting to remove the bed from the 2018 zforce so that i can check things out real good and fix or tighten anything that needs it.
How hard is it to remove the bed?Any special tools needed.
