If it's under warranty don't do anything, take it to your dealer's service center.

Sacforce could you please explain what the process was to get yours? My dealer told me that it must be installed at a dealership? Thank you

That is correct, your dealer is "supposed" to install the hitch receiver. However, since I live a couple hundred miles away from my dealer and he screwed up he just went ahead and shipped it to me to install. On the warranty bulletin it has the instructions and labor time allowed, which is .1 hour. You remove one blot at the lower crank case and replace it with the longer one supplied with the receiver. Then there are two smaller bolts that go through the frame.

The next time i'm up at my property I'll take a picture of it an post it on here.

I understand the frustration too. Mine was purchased as a ranch ATV where towing things around my property was the main reason for purchasing it. I was very upset to see it missing too and EVEN more disappointed at the owner of the dealership in Reno not even knowing how to submit a claim to get one for me. I basically had to figure it out myself and then told him what he needed to do. I lost over a month in that process alone. CFmoto needs to better train and inform their dealers.

As far as taking one off a pre-2022 unit, that's not going to happen as they're welding on.

I did get mine a couple weeks ago and installed it over the weekend. The installation went fine although a little awkward to get it lined up properly and bolted down.

What I've discovered since my original post... Due to a production shortage the 2022 Cforce 400 and 500 ATV's are shipping without a towing receiver as part of the standard vehicle configuration.

There is a Warranty Bulletin WAR-2022-07 that addresses this issue. The dealer must submit a warranty claim for the Towing Receiver 9DQV-400010-3000S in order for it to be shipped to the dealer for installation. Kits may not be given to customers for self-installation.

It's supposed to come with the machine.
Call your dealer and have them get one from CFmoto for free.

Thanks! I bought the unit out-of-state (it's not sold in California) and spoke to the dealer this morning. They're going to ship me the part.

Can you or someone post a picture of their's installed.

I've spent the last hour searching the web for a hitch receiver for my new Cforce 500 but can't find anything.

Can someone please send me a link or part number to the right receiver for this ATV. Thanks!

It's gonna be used exclusively on our ranch, so I'm not too worried about it.

This was more for anyone in California wanting to buy one.

I recently discovered the new 2022 Cforce 500 is not for sale in California. I contacted CFMOTO and got the following response...

Thank you for your inquiry about the CFMOTO vehicles in California. CFMTO is still awaiting some our units to being CARB – Qualified. We have submitted our MY22 units to US Homologation for approval. We don't have any specific timeline as it is a larger process that is out of our control. We have been qualified in the past, so there shouldn't be an issue with approval for these models as well. Unfortunately, due to it be out of our control, we can't provide information regarding when approval may take place. We're sorry this wasn't the answer you were hoping for but thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get this done in a timely manner.

So I'm now faced with either going to Nevada to buy one of wait for California to process their approval, which God only knows how long that will take.
