ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / oil psi light
November 17, 2019, 06:38:31 PM
I just bought a new 2018 left over zforce 800 trail. It has 7 miles on it and while driving it out of my garage I noticed the oil light came on after it was running for a bit. It came on for a brief second then went out. It happened 3/4 times while it was running. It happened at idle and the light would not stay on. If it was a oil issue wouldn't it stay on? Looking for ideas before I bring it in. Where are the wire connections for the oil psi sensor?

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / air filter/intake, arctic cat
October 28, 2019, 10:01:23 AM
i see a lot of problems where the stock filter is poorly made and the intake is in a bad location. has anyone tried the mesh screen arctic cat uses on the snowmobiles at the intake? i have ordered the uni filter and pre-filter but these pre-filters are the same or similar to the screen cat uses.

If you ride hard and lots of miles per year, yeah..I'd do it. But if you were like me..easy on it and less then 500 miles per year it wouldn't be worth it.
it comes with a 1 year warranty. for $1800 more i can get a 5 year warranty. i think it is worth it, your thoughts?
800-1000 miles a year. 4000+ over 5 years, I think it is worth it. I am not one to go through water or mud. I pick it up friday

You didn't say what they are asking for the 2018. If it helps I gave $9699.00. 2018 zforce 800ex off the showroom floor back in August. The 2020s are out now so don't be scared to negotiate on the 2018. You might get a better deal.
$9000 out the door, all fees are included

Looking at these two model years, both are brand new. The 2018 is 2k cheaper. Is it worth it? Any changes or updates from 18 to 20? Any issues with either model? They seem like a great machine except for the airbox design. Is there an update or better system out there for this?
