My statement was directed to my 2017 500 HO EPS two up unit. The rear a-arm bushings upper and lower were too tight thus keeping the rear suspension in a squatted position. Once I get my unit back, I'm installing high lifter coils on the rear shocks. If time permits, I'll install some zeros to allow the bushings to be lubricated. Dealer confirmed fuel pump failure and is replacing.

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Dealer B&B KTM, Yamaha and CFmoto
August 02, 2018, 05:56:57 PM
All, procured 500 HO EPS on the 21st of July, 2018. Paid 3000.00 down, financed the rest. Last weekend we Prepaired for our second ride and the fuel system failed. We drove 2.5 hours to the dealer on Saturday the 28th. I was told that the service person was out....nobody could look at it. I was also told that it could be two weeks before a fix. On Thursday the 1st of Aug, I sent an email to the dealer requesting a status. I would have thought they would have at least sent me an update but, I had to request it. The name of the dealer is below. Saying I'm frustrated is an understatement. 161 miles and in the shop already with little concern from the dealer. I'm regretting this purchase. I have. 450 foreman, 1998 and a 2000 Rancher 350 and a 1987 350d 4x4. I have had little problems but nothing like this. I turn my own wrenches.......I wanted a two up atv and here it is, broke down and the dealer network is acting like my problem is for me to work.

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Cforce 500 eps failures
July 28, 2018, 03:32:41 PM
All, bought 2017 500 HO EPS, Blue from dealer in Manhiem PA one month ago. Went to ride today and unit would not start. Crancked great and zero fuel injection pump sound. Sure enough, unit woul almost run trying starting fluid. Took to dealer today. 161 miles, fuel system craps out, driving light has taken on water, rear suspension cannot handle two up, and that I have a fix for. But, for a fuel injection problem already? I had a ride planned today and Sunday, update the rear shocks and install a rear box made for two up riding......very worried and hoping that this is a fluke. I have yet to make first payment.

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Re: Question On MPG
July 19, 2018, 05:49:00 AM
My 500 HO eps is new. We got 140 plus miles out of the 5 gallon tank. Fuel indicator was blinking when we got back home. That was two up with food, drinks, and other items fully packed. Just did first oil change, added expanded rear rack and will add rear box soon. Just ordered Highlifter shock coils to swap out the rear OEM....hopefully that will improve the weak rear suspension.

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Re: Aftermarket shock!!!

All, I just bought a cforce 500 HO eps and I too desired better rear shock performance. After measuring the eye to eye length, I ordered replacement springs from Highlifter, for a 1998 TRX 300 4x4 as they use one rear shock. The Highlifter coils are rated to be able to support 100 additional pounds each. Right now, the cf500 is set on max load and rides terrible. I'll pull the rear shocks off, replace the coils and hopefully I'll start out on the lowest setting. With passenger, we never bottomed but the unit was very squatted and appeared that the rear tires were close to touching fenders. I'll repost after I'm done with results. Bike only has 155 miles on it, did oil change already. Going to adjust the tps also.....slow speed jerky-ness is very annoying.
