General Discussion / super rocky ride??
September 03, 2017, 01:06:24 PM
hey all, so finally took out my cf moto and to my surprise, the ride was extremely bumpy and not very comfortable. I was wondering if this is just a side by side thing? I know my ATV is definitely not that rough riding. Since I never rode a side by side before, im thinking maybe thats just the way they are since they are heavier and you are in a seat

yaaay thank you!! ill go ahead and use that oil from yamaha. its the best priced. I know polaris oil is more expensive; but if its better for my UTV to last long, ill gladly add more money.

I did try to google "uni air filter for CFMOTO zforce800" I click on the ads and stuff, but when I click it, does not really specify if its for the UTV

August 28, 2017, 11:53:29 AM
Hey guys, sorry I am sure this is probably all over the forums somewhere; but I am using my phone, so it become tedious.

Anyhow 2 questions if you guys can help me! :)

so, I can not find an air filter for cfmoto 800 online; for a zforce trail 2017... any ideas on a model number that I can google

and would it be ok to use polaris oil on a cfmoto? i believe its the synthetic one for sportsman -

or would something like this be ok

https://www.amazon.com/Yamalube-All-Purpose-Stroke-10w-40/dp/B008QS9NEW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1503939142&sr=8-3&keywords=atv+oil

so this rubber piece here has a hole size of maybe 1 or 2 quarters? its in the right lower side of the utv. im guessing thats what is connected to the airfilter? maybe I should take it back to the dealer and have them give me a tutorial. they never did

so thats a black plastic tube that leads to the airfilter right?

as far as the air intake, im not seeing it on the right side of the passengers shoulder; that looks like a V thing with holes?  :-X sorry this is my first UTV. if any pictures, that would be great! havent had time to really play with the UTV yet

ahh interesting!! ok thanks!! nvm then :D whats that hole by the airfilter then? not used to seeing something like that  :P

usually im used to seeing the intake is taking in air leading from the airbox/filter.
#23
thanks all!! so just a siuggestion....i noticed the air intake coming from the air filter, which is located in the rear right by the passenger if that sounds right haha) is too low to the ground, in my opinion. Im thinking of redirecting it a little higher. My guess, in that position, it will suck up dust like there is no tomorrow being that close to the wheels

thank you all!! super stupid question, but where is the airfilter on these guys and the battery on zforce 800s

August 15, 2017, 01:44:29 PM
not a cfm owner...yet aleast...but go for the 800....done the mistake 3 times!!! started off with a 450 kingquad and i was like dang want something with a little more power....got a can am 500 in miami....i was like yes!! few months later...wanted somethhing with more power.... ended up getting 570 polaris in colorado thinking that was enough....now I want a 1000 to not make the mistake again ha ha.

once my 570 is paid off, trading that guy in for a 850 or 1000

Have a 2016 800 z with 2300 miles only problem thought had a wheel bearing out but it was just a loose A arm bolt which allowed play in the front wheel, change the shell rotella diesel oil about every 400 miles clean the filters about every 100 miles

wow that actually is impressive! it takes me about 2 / 3 years to add in 1000 miles on my quad. So 2k miles will probably take me 5 - 6 years to do on a side by side for the wife.

and actually, the 800 is what I plan on getting in december. Thanks for all of the feedback!! If anyone else havent had problems, or any long term reviews on cfmotos utv and atvs please let me know!!

I am planning to get one in December, so still have plenty of time!

oh wow thats not bad at all, my big fears are engine blowing tranny blowing. It might take me a few years to reach 2000 miles since I ride once a month. if any other ones with 1000+ miles let me know! although I bought a rzr, my wife really likes this rzr, so I might buy her a cfmoto down the road
