That's exactly how mine looks.
Awesome.!!
I will order the new sprocket and chain, as well as the new tensioner and bars.
Hopefully this will take care of the issue now.
Fingers and toes crossed.
Thank You sooooo much!! You have been great with your advice. So patient. :)

Hey,

Need your input again!!!!!

Took the snyper for a short run and only got a few hundred yards and she died. Wouldn't start again, same issue. I think it jumped it's timing again. If so what do think that would be?

Hey,

Please to say that she lives again. Took top end off and and timing was off. Adjusted timing and valves, she runs like new. Please God she stays that way for awhile. Also noticed another tube off.
Once again, Thanks for all your help!!!!
God Bless

with that tensioner you take off the screw cap and insert a screwdriver and turn it counter clockwise to set the tension. I think the cap is there for 1. to keep anything from getting inside the tensioner, 2. to alow access to the inner screw to set tension and 3. to keep oil from coming out.

Hey,
Something just came to me while reading about the timing and valves.
When I got my sxs back after the oneway pulley was installed for the starter to turn over the engine, I
noticed that the screw on the timing chain tensioner was missing. At the time I didn't think it was anything. Just watching a video and reading up on this, you can lose oil out of the tensioner if the screw is missing and your timing can go off.
Is this correct?

So much appreciate all your input and help on this.  I guess now I will have to take it to a shop to get it checked out.
Once again thank you so much.
God Bless and have a Great Weekend!!!!

Oh my!!
Not sure if it's worth that.

Also as a note. I had the one way bearing replaced this summer because the starter wouldn't turn the engine over. Would that throw the timing off if they didn't put it back right. Because I started having trouble the first ride after that and it would leak some oil/ spit it out from underneath the throttle body. In that area. Also the u shape pipe coming off the throttle body to the air filter had oil in it.

Ok
So if it did jump and valves are off again, what does that mean?
#9
Ok

I checked the valves and both were tight/closed. Adjusted to spec, but still won't start. Did a compression and got 120psi and the manual states 145psi. As it was turning over air was coming from the air intake tube coming from the air filter and it blow off the air intake hose from the throttle body.

Does anyone have a repair/service manual for a 2013 cfmoto zforce 600?
#11
ok

I will check that out.
i cleaned out the throttle body this evening and it was pretty dirty. Also the exhaust pipe and u pipe which were full of grime. Almost started but no go. I will definitely do what you suggested.

Thank You

Ok,

So before I check fuel pressure and compression I decided to have another look at the fuel injector.
So I checked the injector again to see if it was getting power, which it was. I checked the spray pattern and cleaned it again and installed it back on the buggy. When I tried starting it again it seemed like it wanted to go but no go. I noticed while it was trying to start that the air intake was puffing out exhaust/smoke. What would cause that?
#13
Yes, exactly!!
That's what it seems like. I will have to check more into it like you suggested.
Thank you so much for the help. I will have to decide to scrape it, or bring it to the shop. Might be better off to just buy a new one. Back to the drawing board.
Thank You.

ok
I check the fuel pump and cleaned the filter the best I could and it started and shut off.
So I then replaced with a new fuel pump, ignition coil and plug wire. Got it to start tonight for a few minutes then shut off again.
Any thoughts?

Went out tonight and the sxs started, but rough. Leveled out and idled good and shut off.
Still going to do what has been suggested but do you think it maybe the plug wire or coil.
Because after it shuts off and you try to restart it floods.
