Can you lead a blind dumb man to where? I noticed my hose lying on the engine and can't find connection point to air box.

Stupid question but where does this thing connect after it leaves the crank case?

Not well, still have a filter installed that is too big for the factory housing.
Did you consider running the smaller filter and check performance? How did you end up closing the filter enclosure with that bulging/non-closure issue?
Thx

So how did this play out? I'm ordering the NU-8503ST pictured in your first photo. Hoping air restriction won't be an issue.

General Discussion / Re: Miles on machine

Would be a better discussion if we used hours vs miles, but alas....
If I get 10,000 miles before a top-end rebuild, fine with me, seems reasonable.

General Discussion / DIY Uforce Doors
March 26, 2022, 03:36:51 PM
Made some lightweight doors for my Uforce 1000. Wanted to keep weight down, as this is over-snow vehicle that relies on lower weights for performance. Also wanted to not spend a bunch of $$.
Contruction is 1" XPS foam sandwiched in fiberglass with epoxy resin. Then cheap clear vinyl with velcro windows. I designed/3D printed some. basic door latches. Door attached to frame with a couple basic hinges, had to drill some holes in roll cage. Total cost of about $150. Most of the time was spent getting the foam to fit inside the door dimensions perfectly. Was a tedious process for door #1, then trace/repeat for door #2. Doors are probably under 5lbs each.

2022 Uforce 1000
Obviously the answer is highly variable based on riding conditions, but I think mine was more than 10mpg, less than 20mpg, closer to 20mpg. I took the tires off mine and put tracks on after break in, so that observation only includes about 15 hours of dirt riding with stock tires.
Sorry for non-specific answer. I'm getting about 5mpg with tracks in deep snow.......sucks it down pretty quick.

20 hour break in done, time to put this thing to work...first pass knocking down the powder, let it set up over night, then buff it out tomorrow. Machine handles the load no problem.

-15f this morning. Brought the generator and ran it all day with the battery on the charger while I was out skiing. Didn't trust the little battery. The other morning at -10f it wouldn't start, then ended up with check engine light that went away today.

Looks like some fun. New Mexico hasn't seen much snow this year, so enjoy yours.
Super dry here, too. Like 70% of normal or something. Going to be a bad fire season.
