2016 zforce 800
4k miles.

Just started blowing oil out the rear valve cover.

Replaced the valve cover, valve cover gasket, shoulder bolts/bolt o rings, oil filter and oil

Let it idle for 15 minutes with no leaks but as soon as I start driving it the leak returns to the point it's dripping/running out all over.

Crankcase breather tube in the airbox seems to be clear and blowing out a small amount of air

I've heard of checking the drain holes or checking the relief spring?.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you for your time .

Shifted into low gear early in the night and oil light flashed once for one second but ran good. Put back in high and continued on with ride no issues

Got into mud later in night and put it in 4wd (non lock) and in low gear. Was running good at first then the oil light started flashing and had very low power. I didn't bring the rpms up enough to hit rev limiter.


Came to a stop and was idling bad and wouldn't stay running. I had to keep re starting it and was in kinda like a limp mode. Wouldnt rev up and was barely moving. Oil light was flashing at times.

Got out of mud (barely since it was in a limp mode) and put it in high gear 2wd and it ran fine all the way home.

Checked oil and it was perfect.

Sounds like an ECU issue?

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
