Hi all. My needs are changing so I'm looking at changing up to a Uforce 800. I've had a blast in my modded ZForce 800 trail but I really need to get one with a dumper bed. I rockhound and a bed would be nice when I'm off-roading back out of the mountains in the Mojave Desert with tools and a bunch of heavy agate/Jasper. I'm wondering if the 2023 UForce 800 suffers from the same cockmamy air intake issues as my ZForce 800 did until I did my mod. Which by the way changed everything and after 1000 miles is still working flawlessly for air intake and the CVT intake/exhaust.

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / Topic disappeared! Remote battery post location turned adblocker to
August 24, 2024, 10:11:02 PM
WTH. I was trying to post images of the myriad of pop ups I get on my end of the forum using my IPhone or IPad even after clearing cashes, history, Etc.. and everything went poof. My original posting about remote battery post location suggestions is gone as well as discussion regarding reason for ads and suggested ways to abate them. Heres just a few of the dozens that pop up. I gotta get this adblocker you guys were all mentioning.

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / Remote Battery Jump Start Post location
August 21, 2024, 02:28:13 PM
Man is this forum polluted with annoying ads. Cripes. Makes it cumbersome to use. I just purchased a pair of remote post to install on my ZForce800 Trail 53 and was wondering where others have located these. The included cables are 3' long so thats the range if I use them.

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / No start issue 2021 ZForce800 Trail
December 20, 2023, 09:30:49 PM
1st time with this issue. Electrical system is completely stock. Batt was charged. Ran some pretty rough, dry but dusty Mojave Desert to mountain, sandy, dusty, rocky trails, (25 miles). Parked at an open claim, mined some agate and loaded up. That's when it happened. Park, foot on brake, turned key, charged EFI and no crank. Tried pumping the brake pedal to cycle the switch and nada. Tested fuses, put a battery jump starter on it and same result. No crank. Jumped the starter and it turned over but no start. Pulled a couple of relays but couldn't get 1/2 started relays to budge, thought I might damage them if I kept trying. Sun was dropping fast so opted to get towed out by my buddy via my front winch cable. Mistake. Thought I was going to die for sure. After a few harrowing miles of that nonsense We stopped. I tried the key and bingo, it fired. I motored the rest of the way to camp. Now I'm kinda reluctant to ride out in the boonies for fear of it happening again. Any ideas? Relays whack? Where can I get replacements.

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / Reclocking needed if bumping up to 27” tires?
May 19, 2022, 12:24:52 AM
Looking at some new 8 ply tires and thought I might bump up to a 27". Curious if re-clocking is necessary for this small of an increase? I don't quite have the skills or tools (yet) to do the re-clocking. Any input is welcome. Thanks.

ZForce 800 EX, 53 & Trail / Z8 Intake Mod complete.

Originally used Glenlevit's (forum member) genius Pizzabox Air Intake Field Fix mod then went permanent using Firewater Forged of Arizona's (forum member) basic design with a few twist of my own. The twist are: 1. At the air box junction behind the passenger seat panel I added a 2" ABS coupler to the end of the gray conduit and then shoved it into the factory boot and clamped it down. It fit super snug and seems to be leak proof. 2. I suck at bending 2" ABS so I went with store bought angles and cut my pipe to fit my standards and desired clearances. 3. I used a 2" flanged rubber spud washer in the 3" hole I bore through the wall of the bed behind and between the seats. Everything else I credit to W's simple, effective and well thought out design.
My tips are watch the Firewater Forge vid at half speed. Take pic's of the vid and reference them when you're cutting and building. Be patient. Do small increment cuts for exact fit. You can't add material if you cut too much off your pipe. His vid and my pics will tell you what you need to see to do this mod. I'll report back after I log a few hard days of running out in the MOJAVE DESERT this Fall and Winter rockhounding. I'll be doing the CVT intake mod W did to his Z8T this winter in my garage.
************ Intake mod finished / CVT Intake mod completed**************
Used the basic Firewater forge CVT intake mod design with one change. I used an off the shelf ABS 3" to 2" reducer as a bushing. It seems to be fine so far. I couldn't get the plumbing to fit behind the trim panels without it touching the exhaust pipe. I figured even wrapped in reflective tinfoil tape this was a recipe for disaster so I left it as is for now and plugged the drill hole in the bed. I'll make another run at it in the fall.

Introduce Yourself and Your Ride / 2021 Z8 Trail - Blue
April 30, 2021, 12:41:04 AM
Hi'yall. Put down a deposit on a new ZForce 800 Trail in St. George, UT. Cali prices are redonkulous. Paying quite a bit less in UT. I've been reading a ton of stuff about the breathing mods, and other things all of the members post about. Great info. My wife and I are avid rock hounds and in the winter one can usually find us out in the middle of the Mojave mining something cool out of the hills. We got a BMS Stallion 600 RX-EFI to up our game because our trusty and tough goto rockmobile, an old Gen I Xterra has its limitations. The Stallion is cool and all buuut, I needs a little more umpf and speed. My wife probably disagrees but hey, I make those all important, what goes in the garage decisions around here. With her permission of course.
.
First place we're going after we pick it up is to Panguitch Lake and Brian Head then back down to Marysvale, UT. & Paiute Trail Country. I'm as stoked as an 8 yo on Christmas eve. Then its east to Green River for some rock hounding. I'm sure once I'm a bit familiar with the Z I'll begin making some Hillbilly rockhound-centric mods to it to fit our needs. I've already got my pizza box all lined up and ready for a temp breather mod for the Marysvale rides. I'll do a perm snorkel type mod for the Airbox and CVT routing them ala Azfireforge maybe trying the inside the cab routing. Our stomping grounds are not quite as dusty as some of these other places I read about. Peace out for now and thanks for all of the helpful info.
