CForce 500 H.O./550 / 550 Switches
December 16, 2016, 04:12:21 PM
Has anyone mounted switches, light bars, relays, wires etc... on their Cforce 550? Where did you put the switches? Where is the light bar? What light bar?
I'm thinking of mounting a light bar but don't know where and how to mount all this, any ideas?
It would also be great to add a reverse light on these 550's

General Discussion / Rear Brake
December 15, 2016, 09:44:28 AM
When I brake hard with my rear brake in the Cforce 550 you can hear some sort of loud clicking knocking noise. Doesn't happen with the front brakes though. On a YT video i saw an X8 braking hard and I could clearly hear the same sound. Does anyone know what I'm talking about, what is that noise? Is it like that in every model?

General Discussion / Brake Fluid
December 10, 2016, 06:10:04 AM
Is it time to add Brake fluid?
http://s1036.photobucket.com/user/Tordesil/media/20161210_125057_zpssre69kid.jpg.html?sort=1&o=0
If so... my question is how and where, in to the container on the handlebars or the container under the front rack? I'm not very good at this stuff. And btw where has the fluid gone? My quad has been running on this brake fluid for about 1 year and 4 months. I haven't done anything to the braking system before
I read somewhere that the break pads wear out, causing the fluid to go low, is that a possible cause here?

General Discussion / CFMoto Brakes
October 26, 2016, 02:02:57 PM
Wait, wait, wait... Did I really just read somewhere that i'm supposed to change the brake pads on a CF every 400-500 Miles!? (650-800km) Is this for real!? I've got 3100km and havent changed them, dealer hasnt told me anything about this... But I am feeling the front brakes aren't as strong as they were.
The rear brakes don't really do the job with the handle and when i tighten the handle (if you know what i mean
) they start squealing, but with the foot pedal all the brakes together they aren't that bad.

General Discussion / CForce 550 wheel bolts
July 31, 2016, 11:38:45 AM
Could someone please tell me what the size of the wheel bolts on a CFMoto CForce 550 Quad are. Are they M10x1,25, M12x1,25 or maybe even M12x1,5? Please. I lost one of my wheel nuts and I need to order a few for replacement.

CForce 500 H.O./550 / CForce 550 Overheating
July 19, 2016, 05:15:45 PM
For the first 1800km (~1120 miles) I haven't had any problems with the Quad at all 2015 CFMoto CForce 550 EFI EPS. Nearly each time i switched the motor off, usually I heard the fan spin for a few seconds, but lately I haven't heard the fan at all. Yesterday in the forest not going over 50kmh (~30mph) I overheated it and today exploring a dirt road, going down a steep hill than up a small steep hill it Overheated again. The EFI indicator was red while the Engine was running, it happens everytime it overheats (today was the 3rd time). And i had 8/8 bars on the heat indicator and the fan didn't kick in. I just shut the engine off and let it cooldown for about 15 minutes until it dropped to 3/8 bars, i rode a bit quicker than normal so i caught more air until i got home around 10km from there i Had 5/8 bars and i was going around 60-70kmh (~38 - ~44mph). I know there is some sort of PCode where the Indicator blinks n amount of times too show you an error, which you can then check in your manual and yesterday I did notice some blinking but I didn't really think of it at that moment just kept going faster until it stopped blinking. I've read some threads on this forum about similar problems but not on this bike, maybe it's something with the "Thermo Switch" I've read of here, but anyways i dont know where it is in My Quad. Is this a common problem? What should I do? Or is it best if I contact my dealer?

Introduce Yourself and Your Ride / CForce 550 New young member

I bought this Quad round 09.2015, "already" done 2100km, but just lately thought of joining the Forums. SO HERE I AM!!
I think i'll just get this through right away i'm 15, in 5 days 16... I know some probably will think I shouldn't be on this Quad but I don't ride it on the Main streets it's not even registered yet
If that's not an excuse I love riding, my parents trust me, I always wear my FOX helmet and nothing has happened "yet"
BTW I hope i'm allowed on the Forum too
My Birth date was accepted and in the Conditions I did not see any age restrictions
As you'll probably notice on the Pics I ride on Maxxis GoldSpeed Tires which aren't very offroad Worthy, but i Haven't yet needed better tires, I had to put them on just after i got the Quad because my Dad didn't want me too destroy the road, but rides his own 660cc Dirt Bike which probably does more damage to the road than i would on atleast the Stock Innova Mud Gear Lite tires. I have got the stock tires but on steel rims from a Grizzly and need to buy the caps. Anyway, thats an irrelevant Story. I Love This Quad and dream of buying myself a Can-Am Outlander 1000 Max XT-P, but for now this should be enough.
I call her "PomaraĆcza" which in Polish simply means "Orange" in a "female form" if you know what I mean.
I like taking picture of her to! For some reasons i'm having problems with posting this, but if your reading it I have got it solved
I hope all the pics are there too.
