All, I've been using Shell Rotella 5W-40 T6 full synthetic for motor oil and so far I have had excellent results. I switched out air filter from OEM to UNI, drilled the upper/lower rear A arms and tapped in zerk fittings...front will be next. I've been using OEM oil filters, and since the TPS adjustment, engine braking actually works. Swapped differential oil with 80/90 LE fully synthetic........Any other improvements that you folks are doing on the older 500 HO EPS I may have missed?

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Exhaust tip 2 inch
May 31, 2021, 10:23:46 AM
I bought from Whiskey Bent Metal works the following: Outlet Diameter: 2.0 Inch Diameter Tip. SPARK ARRESTOR: Cone style spark arrestor screen SHIPPING: Shipping Within USA
MODEL MACHINE: 799cc Or Smaller Model Machine
SKU: XN-C-FRC-PRF1-2-0

This tip has allowed the exhaust to run cooler and doesn't increase the loudness of the 500 Ho Eps two up bike I have. It does backfire occasionally but nothing bad. I did this to cool down the right leg heat. I also bought another OEM exhaust shroud and cut it in half, flipped it upside down and installed it under the OEM mounted shroud to encase the pipe from the sensor on back to just before the bend near the fender. Used stainless steel 4 inch hose clamps to hold tight. The steel shroud around the sensor, was doubled up, meaning I bought another OEM shroud and pressed the two together and installed them both in the same stock location. Used high temp never seize on all the bolts and a stainless steel hose clamps around this one also to shunt any rattling. Temps much cooler for rider.

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Cforce 500 HO eps rear wheel spacers
September 18, 2018, 04:41:27 AM
All, just wanted to share that I installed on the rear wheels one inch spacers that I originally bought for my 450 foreman and it has made a huge difference in the turning radius of this machine. Being a two up unit, it has a longer wheelbase and installing these spacers on the rear really helps. The only con, the tires stick out past the mudguards , thus tossing more stuff on you and your passenger .

All, during my fuel pump and crankshaft sensor failures, my 2017 unit had a recall done on it that called for the cylinder head bracket to be added to keep the high pressure line to the fuel injector from popping off during times of extreme motor strain the woul cause the rubber mounted motor to shift drastically and possibly allow the high pressure line to make contact with the frame. New bracket corrects this. Just sharing.

All, procured 500 HO EPS on the 21st of July, 2018. Paid 3000.00 down, financed the rest. Last weekend we Prepaired for our second ride and the fuel system failed. We drove 2.5 hours to the dealer on Saturday the 28th. I was told that the service person was out....nobody could look at it. I was also told that it could be two weeks before a fix. On Thursday the 1st of Aug, I sent an email to the dealer requesting a status. I would have thought they would have at least sent me an update but, I had to request it. The name of the dealer is below. Saying I'm frustrated is an understatement. 161 miles and in the shop already with little concern from the dealer. I'm regretting this purchase. I have. 450 foreman, 1998 and a 2000 Rancher 350 and a 1987 350d 4x4. I have had little problems but nothing like this. I turn my own wrenches.......I wanted a two up  atv and here it is, broke down and the dealer network is acting like my problem is for me to work.

CForce 500 H.O./550 / Cforce 500 eps failures
July 28, 2018, 03:32:41 PM
All, bought 2017 500 HO EPS, Blue from dealer in Manhiem PA one month ago. Went to ride today and unit would not start. Crancked great and zero fuel injection pump sound. Sure enough, unit woul almost run trying starting fluid. Took to dealer today. 161 miles, fuel system craps out, driving light has taken on water, rear suspension cannot handle two up, and that I have a fix for. But, for a fuel injection problem already? I had a ride planned today and Sunday, update the rear shocks and install a rear box made for two up riding......very worried and hoping that this is a fluke. I have yet to make first payment.
