Welcome from Abq. Not sure anyone here has done anything like that before but if so they will chime-in. Will it really be at it's maximum capacity of 1000lbs? Might want to consider upgrading the tires and springs...maybe. Power won't be any problem. :)

I'm south of you (between Las Cruces and El Paso).  Regarding the weight, no issues on the Polaris and it is still on stock shocks and springs (it's a 2008).  I have already reached out to permex (I think that is the spelling) for their lift kit and spacers, but the spacers are on back order.  I'm mostly concerned about the frame strength and the way the bed is mounted - seems flimsier than the Polaris, but both are rated for 1000 pounds.

UForce 1000 XLS / Adding an aluminum dog box

I'm waiting on delivery of a 1000 XL, currently have a Polaris 500 with a dog box I'd like to move over.  It weighs about 200 pounds empty, will be under 1000 pounds fully loaded.
In order to mount it I need to remove the dump bed, the dog box mounts to the pivot points of the bed and will use latch clamps in front (so I can flip it up for access to engine when needed).  The bed pivot points on the CF MOTO don't seem to be as robust as the Polaris, wondering if anyone has either done something like this, or even just fully loaded the bed and flipped it up?  Any thoughts on if the frame and pivot will handle something like this?
