It worked, almost fell out. Had some "goo gone" squirted it in around tail light and left it for a few days. *more like a week, :o I forgot about it*
And with the heat and weather, I checked it today and pressed lightly on the bolts and it almost fell out. So they indeed used some sort of adhesive to secure the light assembly. Now I know the code ;D. LMAO

Now that sounds like a solid plan.

yup, seems about right. Just think it's dumb to have an extra unnecessary step to even change a frickin bulb too. :o

Been attempting to swap out tail/brake light assembly. 2 nuts and wiring removed, but damn assembly won't come out. Doesn't budge, stays put, am I missing something? Or is there a secret code?   ;D

I ended up bringing to the dealer, last year, they cleared the code/turned off the light. All was fine until yesterday, the light started flashing again. So, I unhooked the battery, and will leave it disconnected until tomorrow, see what that does. Will update later

CForce 500 / Brakes...the damn brakes
October 12, 2020, 03:29:38 PM
Another 2016 500HO with a brake issue. The brake lever quits working, but the foot pedal keeps working, bled out whole system. Got me working brakes for a few days then lose the lever control again. no leaks, no drips, no torn lines, no sweaty seals to be seen, just seems to be getting air somewhere, started last winter. Must be a flaw of the setup I guess.

Hey, I bought a new old stock 2018 400HO in April. Everything works fine, except last week when I turned key on, the FI light started to flash. I doesn't have a pattern, and I tried holding the throttle open while turning key on, and turn key off then release...didn't do anything.  I could bring to dealer, 230km away, but I could just do it myself if I could pull a code.
Read about a joiner in the purple and green wire on a plug, does anyone know if it works? Is there an actual code reader for cfmoto, I'd buy one if available,

Thanks for any help.....Just want to use the machine again.

That's it!! Is there anywhere online I can order from?

Try ..Amazon? (Who would have thought)

https://www.amazon.com/CF-Moto-Fuel-Cap/dp/B077PS1JCX

doesn't ship to Canada via that seller......I have my Dealer ordering another one now. I did check Ebay, Amazon , alpha sports, and a couple other places for the cap, nothing that'll ship to Canada, or it's an absurd shipping rate like 45 dollars shipping on a ~24 dollar part....

Hey I'm in Newfoundland, Canada, I was fueling my 2016 500HO, and being not so careful :-[ ....dropped my fuel tank cap :'( ....it broke....part number shows 7030-120060...I have that cap....It's WRONG  :o .  That cap screws onto a tank with threads, my cap screws into the tank with its own threads!!!   Anyone know the correct part number? Is there an online store I can order parts myself?

http://www.alpha-sports.com/cfmoto_parts.htm    is where I checked part number....and even there it gives same number as above.....it's incorrect information
