found issue, cable plastic cap trapped under ring terminal from battery. Musta come from the factory that way as its never been apart by me, maybe dealer on assembly? But removed melted plastic, burnished contats and ring terminals. running again

think I found the problem. Terminal strip on the frame rail between battery, mains fuses and regulator. will pull, clean or replace. tks

I checked both fuses and drop across them, 0 volt drop. But will check again during more looking a it. tks

this is what I have done to troublshoot the no start on my Z800. The symnptom started on my weekly start up and run. the battery is up to par, even bridged in another to test. The amp draw on the battery when key is on(not start) is more than 7.5
amp dc. The fuses box, normally on fuses to battery drop from battery voltage to 3.48 vdc. But the battery B+ remains at 12.38 vdc.. As shown on the picture, the LCD back ground lights up momentarily when turning the ign switch to off. the normally powered fuses coem back to Battery voltage. the winch has power no matter the posit of ign switch.
