I am on my second CFMoto CForce, a 1000 Touring.  I wanted the rear seat for my wife.  While riding Wednesday, I noticed my gear indicator on my screen started flickering and then went blank.  I checked the linkage and found nothing and then read it was on the steering rack (which made no sense to me.  I saw two terminals there. 
So, can anyone show me where the gear sensor is located?

Thanks for all the info.  I checked out the Facebook site.  Lots of good info.  My dealer checked with CFMoto and the suggested Teflon taping the sensor prior to installation.  Not sure if that resolved the issue.  Cruise control dropped out a number of times, then started working.  Seems to me there is a fitment issue.  Thanks for your help.

Has CFMoto come with a fix for the flashing 1-6 in the speedo as well as the cruise control dropping out when this is going on?  I have read a number of us are having this issue.  Mine began after about 1,100 miles.  So far, I have read that CFMoto is aware of this issue, but has not come up with a fix yet.  This happens after the bike has been run around 30 minutes at freeway speeds in 6th gear.

My First week and 400 miles on my new CFMoto 700 CL-X Sport   September 2022

Earlier this month I made a stop at Mt Baker Moto-Sports to pick up some parts.  The row of CFMoto bikes near Steve's desk caught my eye and I asked some questions.  Soon Steve W. asked if I wanted to take one out. I took out the CFMoto 700 CL-X Sport, the higher spec CL 700X that included 2 disk Brembo brakes up front, Bosch ABS and ignition, and Maxis street tires.

My first impression was wow, this thing is fun.  It handled nicely, but was not too aggressive of a seating position (even for my lower back issues).  This was my first sport motorcycle.  The engine was nice with power coming on around 5000 RPM.  The bike came with two maps and cruise control.  This is normally not seen on a bike in this price range.  Also included are KYB fully adjustable forks and shock - very nice OEM equipment. 

There have not been any issues/problems with this bike.  It has performed flawlessly.  Oil changes are a breeze, and I believe the air filter is just inside the right side cover. Accessories I added include a radiator guard,. kickstand  foot enlarger, and spools (10mmX1.25mm).

This bike is for someone wanting to try sport bikes or just want to go out for an hour or two or four.  It has good ergos and is not too forward.  The engine suits the bike well with 74 HP.  It moves the bike briskly but is still very manageable.  It is quite comfortable and snappy.  This CFMoto represents a very good value.

Hello All,
picked up a 700CL-X from Mt Baker Motosports Tuesday.  I have 200 miles on it and am very impressed and happy with it.  I downloaded the CFMoto ride app but can not get the app on the motorcycle screen (the nav screen is on my phone).  Anyone that can help me tp get my phone to communicate the nav to my screen?  My phone is paired to the bike.  Each CFMoto bike has a different way to access the motorcycle screen.  Thank you.
