I am owner of a 2009 V5 CF Moto Legacy. When I purchased this bike it had a older battery in it and the bike was giving a very slow week crank. I put a Duralast gold new 12 V battery in it and the bike turned over and I wrote it and rode fine. Yesterday when I went to crank it gave a very weak start but never turned over. And then now today the bike is dead no spark nothing no even lit display. I thought perhaps it was maybe because I left one of the buttons Open. So I recharge the battery and I put a new spark plug in and I also put a new 15 amp fuse in off of the positive lead just in case. Still I am getting no spark nothing. Someone said it perhaps could be the that the kickstand or a kickstart I'm not quite sure what it's called. But I heard there's a yellow wire that's hooked up to the terminal along with a green one and green and white one that can inhibit the turnover  spark /crank of the bike. I've gone through combinations of trying to even use a jumper and I get nothing. I don't know could it be solenoid? Could it be a burnt CDI or perhaps stator? I'm fairly handy with small projects but I'm not quite sure what to do. With the first thing to do would try to look and see if there's any loose connections? Or the next thing be perhaps go into may be there kickstand might be inhibiting something?Any guidance would be great !! And again happy to be aboard!
