CForce 400/450 / No.more speedometer
May 06, 2022, 09:25:21 PM
Went out for rough trail rise today, but took er' easy. However, one the way home, I noticed my speedometer, and my trip-meter weren't working anymore. The speedometer just showed 0 while I was moving. Everything else in the digital cluster works fine. My atv is a 2016 cforce 400. Can anyone tell me where the speed sensor is on this atv, and how to test it ? Thanks.

General Discussion / STARTER HESITATION ON CFORCE
April 16, 2022, 09:11:27 PM
I just purchased a used 2016 Cforce 400 with 900 miles in it. It seems to run great, BUT, I noticed the every time I want to start it, it will hesitate and do nothing. Then when I press the starter button a second time, it starts flawlessly. I trickle charged the battery overnight and when I tested the battery this morning with my multimeter, the battery showed 14.87v. Is that hesitation something I should be worried about ? Could it be the starter solonoid ? This little atv is a neat little machine, and I really hope the hesitation issue won't be a costly repair. Thanks for any answers and hope anyone can offer. Introduce Yourself and Your Ride / Hello from eastern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
April 15, 2022, 04:58:11 PM
Hello everyone. I use to atv between 2002 and 2012, then gave it up to pursue other things. Had a massive heart attack two years ago, followed by 4 stents and open heart surgery with a triple bypass. So now that I behave new plumbing, and am trying to live a healthier lifestyle, I thought I'd get back into atving, and enjoy some fresh air and fishing. I really can't handle a big bore atv bike now because of my weaker heart and my age, so I thought I'd slowly get back in the saddle with a used 2016 Cforce 400, which only has 850 Mike's on it, which purchased this morning. I went for a little ride once I got it home, at the back of my property where there are some very rough stony and muddy trails. Man, what a work out lol, but I had a grin on my face like an 8 year old. I had forgotten how physical it was to ride one of these things lol. To make matters a little harder, my 400 doesn't have EPS, but I'm OK not having it, as we never had it in our older atv's of the past. Now the little bit that I drove this 400 today, really impressed me. It has more than enough power for this ole man, and considering how stoney and rough the trails were with logs and stumps protruding everywhere, this atv was like the little train that could ( hence the first time physical workout) If thus don't get me into shape after being so stagnant for the last few years, nothing will. I now look forward to hitting some smoother trails. Thanks for having me on board. Take care.
