I've noticed pretty similar thing with my 2022 600 touring.
Curious if anyone has gotten any more info on this. It definitely seems to effect the fuel consumption as well as I think is mentioned in another thread around here.
I'm not sure if it's just my imagination (probably is lol) but after about 170km of break-in it seems like maybe the RPM requirement has tamed slightly, as has the engine braking. Still though it seems high.
One thing I did notice is that up to 5k RPM the speed is very slow/gradual...but as you bump over 5k and close to 6k the speed really ramps up. Like you basically double the speed as you go from 5k to 6k. So it just seems like low speed requires a lot of RPMs and that curve drops off above that. Anyone else find this?
Due to bring it in to dealer for the post break-in period first maintenance and will ask what's up but I suspect I'll hear the same as others, that "it's normal".
