Found the problem! the connection on the throttle body was unplugged. after I plugged it in she started.
Before it quit the check engine light was continually flashing, now its out.

Thanks for the Idea, I've went and checked the switch with a ohm meter and it seems to be good.

My grandson pressed the kill switch on the dash, after the switch was turned back on the Z6 would crank but not start. after 2 days it started.
Now It wont start again, This time the z was shut off by the key .
Any ideas what could be the problem?
