I agree the trail tech gives you the actual belt temp and is a better application, I used a different brand cuz I have all the gauges matching on my dash.

Thanks man! I was looking for the left side switch today and hoping I can buy one that just plugs in the same harness without splicing any wires. Does anyone know who has the switch for sale?....I don't use ebay or buy overseas with no tracking and like over a month to get to your door. MSC or CFMoto might have but I found it's 3 to 4 weeks shipping and a $199 bucks. I just looked and found the trailer harness is there but has no plug set up with the mount.....I guess that's another upgrade also., LOL

Can I buy a plug and play switch or do I need to splice into some wires. Thanks for your reply!

I notice others have a signal switch along with flashers on the left side but my brand new Cforce1000 has none. Can I buy a plug and play replacement switch from CFMoto....or somewhere else? Is this a NY state regulation thing?..... I will call dealership Monday. Thanks for your help!

I found this works best for me and it's much lighter and fits perfect. I keep mine on a battery tender when not in use for a few days. if for some reason you drain the battery, it has a failsafe and way to top off easily.  I use them on all my machines, Harley, jet ski, ATV, dirt bike......they have never failed me. They cost more but worth the investment. I use the 8.0 amp 480 cc.

I was able to install the front ones and went for a ride......WHAT A DIFFERENCE! It's like butter and yes, The stock are stiff and much heavier. I'm putting in the back ones tonight and going riding at my hidden track in the wood tomorrow. It figures that everything I buy has another release right after I bought. Always upgrades I replaced or figured out, Many give input to CFMoto and they do listen. I hate spending the extra cash and work but it's all good once it's together........ sometimes it's better that a orgasm when things work smooth like you expect them too.. LOL!

My name is Terry and I want to thank you for replying to my help question. You were right , I wrapped around plug wire and wala!....it's working like I originally thought it would. I was told different from someone who's talking out their A#@#%$....I should have know better after all these years of working on anything with a motor. The gauges look cool and my elka stage 4 shocks came in today so tomorrow there getting put in. The thing that makes me laugh every time I open the door is I have this skeleton giving you the finger projected on the floor. I am now ready to make flames come out the pipes for the goof, I'm using a barbecue igniter with a small propane tank with brass fittings......Hope it works! ;D

I got your emails and I can't thank you enough for your help. On all my other tach gauges I wrapped around plug wire near the coil but this is a twin. I did set switch for twin cylinder and I will just put around one plug wire and see what happens. I was told because of the sealed coil I had to find the RPM signal wire. I just finished my Irish dinner and plan on hitting my garage in a few....I will keep you informed with my progress ....or failure ;D

To be honest, I bought mine from a friend that owns a dealership and I wouldn't trust them to repair anything on my z950. I'd rather go to a crackhead cuz the are usually not trained techs on CFMoto models.......that's here in NY so I'm not sure in other states.

I have stage 1-2 and 3 clutch kits and only 28 inch grim reapers that screams with low end torque. You can do it with stock and re-clocking the spring, Depending on your driving habits, you won't cook the belt or wear them out too fast. I installed a CVT belt temp gauge just to keep track how hot it gets when beating on it, with normal use you should be fine. ENJOY YOUR RIDE!

I have put them on my Z950n and feel a lot safer with tree stumps at high speeds. I have skid plates and Nerf bars with additional bumper front and rear. I thought that fender well was kinda exposed.....it definitely looks cool for sure.

Does anyone know the color of the RPM or tachometer signal wire on pin Nu# 34 with ECU? I installed a digital RPM gauge and can't figure how to splice into coil because of two coils. So I thought use the Tachometer signal and found it's pin Nu# 34 from the manual. I don't want to remove plug and cut tape back at the ECU access panel. I'm hoping someone did that and can tell what color the wire is so I can trace up to instrument display and splice or tap in there.

Thanks for helping me understand....at the moment NY is run ass backwards with a bunch of really stupid policies..I also see a another money grab at some point when they do register UTV's in N.Y. I went out this weekend to break it in and move some trees off trails with winch. This beast goes anywhere! :)
