Hey, I know I have seen it on here before, but can't find it now. What is the valve lash supposed to be set at for intake/exhaust? I am going to do first "tune up" and see if it helps my machine run a little better. Has about 530 miles, and a little top end noise, and rough start/ no start. Wanna check everything, but wanna make sure have the right specs. Thanks ahead of time.

Thank you. If you know of another place to get one, I would go there. But if you can send it you will be a hero to my wife, who misses her little fun buggy. I ger=nerally ride my Honda 4 wheeler, but she has gotten addicted to the Z8, and so has grandson. That is why I am working on it, for my 2 YO "boy". He runs grampa's life. Lol.

So I have about 530 miles on a Z800 all stock except for Uni filter. I have a bad run issue. It is making one plug wet, and the other is very black and burnt looking. Has not been starting until today when it started, but runs real rough, and will not pick up any RPMs. It has a little popping sound in the air box. Do I need to check valves? What are the specs, and how do I find TDC on the little thing? Used to old Chevy's with a little more room, and access. Please help!!!

Any chance you can share that service manual with me also. Just started having problems with a 16 that I have also. It is stock, but think it needs valves adjusted, and need some guidance. Service manual would be a big start.
