Chris

Bad news, I pulled the tire down to get the weight,  there's a pretty deep cut on the sidewall.  Not all the way through but I wouldnt trust it run around the block.  Sorry.good luck on the hunt.

Sounds good, give me a couple days and I'll get the shipping cost.

Btt

I had a sidewall cit on mine shortly after I bought my zforce 800 ex so  I've got 3 of the 4 that came on my 21 800Ex with about 300 miles on them.  Happy to give them to you but it seems like shipping would be more than buying a new one and having it delivered.  I'll confirm the sizes but I'm pretty sure they're the same.

Can you tell any noticeable difference to your ride, and are they solid built?  Looking very seriously on making the purchase once they are restocked.

Yes, they are very solid.  The ride is better because I pulled about an inch of preload from the shock springs. So I still have about 1.5" lift and a softer ride. The install took me about 45 minutes and they include everything needed to relocate brake lines and parking brake cables.  I'd recommend them

I used this, worked fine was like $35

Definitely much less expensive. I'd say based on the quality and how the other kit was zforce specific, relocated the top bracket for the rears, included brackets to relocate the rear parking brake cable and points to remount the front brake lines, I'd probably go with it again. If I had the chioce.

The ebay lift takes like 10 minutes to modify and is about 165 cheaper. Looks good though, just not sure its worth the price and this appears out of stock.

What lift kit is this?  Only $25 for the razor kit is pretty inexpensive.  All I saw in ebay for razors were cad plated and around $150.  I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the kit I got.  Everything was water jet cut, looked to be CNC bent and powder coated.  Built to fit and retained the stock shock angles. And $190 US.
Im not affiliated with them, just thought it was a great product.  And it appears I got lucky and got the last one in stock.

Good luck..have fun.

Got it on the road for a test run just now.  Amazing improvement.  It feels like the Ranger 900 I have at work on initial acceleration now.  Still just an 800 cc at 7300 ft so I wasnt expecting miracles.  I'm very happy with the improvement.

I got the Perfex 2 inch lift installed today.  Excellent kit, and its not a goofy shock spacer that increases the preload on your shocks and makes the ride worse.  For the price you would be crazy to buy modify the RAZR kit to fit.  The thing I really like about it is that I can reduce the lift by backing off the shock spring preload and have an improved ride at the stock height, which is pretty decent.

You will go to the first ramp or pad in that direction. The more degrees it is, the farther away it will be...if that makes sense. :)

I could do up to B2 by hand but when I tried A2 I had to have help from some strap wrenches.

Good deal, that's how it went.  I've got it back together.  I'm going to install my 2" lift tomorrow, finish my harnesses then take it up to cedro peak on Sunday for a test run.  Thanks for all of your help

That's it.
Ok, I marked the B1 shoe and ramp before I pulled it apart.  It looks like on B2 the ramp is going to be 1 shoe off of where B1 was, is this correct?
Your thinking about it differently then it should be. Looking down on it, you will twist the spring different amounts to set the helix ramp on the pad. Think of it as preloading the spring. The more degrees it is from zero..or its static position the more preload it will have. As you compress it and it gets close you will twist the spring in the direction it takes to make the spring smaller...like the video, to the left or counterclockwise to set the helix ramp on the pad. If you leave out the key you can spin the bottom part to align the keyway slots after compression. I find that easier. This is a little degree wheel I put together with the different clocking positions that might help in visualizing it.

Ok, so it is correct that the ramp won%u2019t necessarily be on the same shoe as the other setting.  I had more preload running the ramp to the first available shoe on the B2 setting then I did in the B1.  That was my sanity check.  All of the videos I%u2019ve watched they rotated the clutch to the first available ramp.  Sound like your experience NMK?

Should be a picture with them but just in case, there aren't CFM's but you get the idea-

Ok like so according th the picture that was underneath them....plus they fit the contour of the clutch and it is not contradicted by the video.

The sliders arrived today, and that's astonishing because I only completed the order by upgrading to Fedex shipping 2 days ago. When I ordered the sliders the ad didn't mention that standard economy shipping was not available due to covid and if I wanted to continue the order I could upgrade to Fedex.
2 frigging days.
I've had pizza take longer. :)
I got mine today as well!  3 days earlier than the fedex scheduled delivery.  Now, how are they to be oriented in the clutch?  Anybody have a picture?

Good looking tool, I'll have to copy it. :) My sliders are coming from Androidextend too, FedEx.

I'll have to go back to Lizzy n Charlies again. If the Frigging border ever opens again!
Did an old Marysvale couple in a van cruise the parking lot and offer to sell made to order bread and cinnamon buns? Did last time we were there. Damned good baking, too. :)
Lizzy n Charlies is where I made the first 'pizza box' intake plenum diverter, the pizza place the box was sourced from was up front by Lizzy n Charlies office. Good pizza. Small world.
No kidding small world.  That pizza place is awesome.  But no couppe selling baked goods.  Apparently your slow boat is hauling ass.  My sliders already arrived in anchorage Alaska and due delivery Monday.  I'll assume yours are slightly ahead of mine if he used fedex for you as well.

Got my clutches out.  The primary was tight as heck, but the secondary zipped off easy with my dewalt cordless impact.  Still have to make the compressing tool and secondary clutch tool holding tool to reinstall.  Should have it done and buttoned up Saturday.

Do the square pins just slip between the ribs on the secondary?  How about the pins on the primary side?  Do they go into the holes, what's the diameter?  I'm going to grab some bar and rod tomorrow.

I use a similar setup for pulling trailing arm Bearings on my track car that I can modify for the compression tool.

Thanks for the pictures!

Yes the square lugs go inside the ribs of the secondary.  And the pins go in two of the holes on the outside of the primary, and I don't recall the diameter of the pins (3/16"???).

I don't have the tool handy, but I can grab it tonight and take some measurements if you need.  I can also take a couple pics of the spring compressor tool, but it's a simple concept.  Some threaded rod, weld a nut on one end and then you'll need something U-shaped for the other end with a nut to compress the spring, and still allow you to get the little retainer out of there.  The videos posted in the how-to section are excellent, which is what I followed to re-clock mine.

Here's a couple more pics that might help.

Thanks sockman,  good pictures.  The pressing tool is the easy part.  The videos show how it functions really well and it will be easy to put one together I think.  I'll just go 3/16 on the pins and turn them down if needed.  Are both bolts torqued to 85lb?
