It makes tones of power so I dont think that valve lash is my issue. Plus its only got like 250 kms on it. I thought I may have plugged the muffler with mud, resulting in a restricted flow (sunk it) so I put a RJWC pipe on it and no change. Any chance it could be a more simple issue like a plugged fuel filter? Im happy to do my own work on it even though it has warranty. Didnt realize that there was only 1 servicing dealer in my area and the other non CFMoto dealers look at me like ive got a six slice toaster on my head lol.

I made mine out of ABS and snorkled the cvt exhaust and the engine air intake. email me and I can send you a few pictures so you can see if you like it.

I have a quick question for you more experienced CfMoto guys. My 2021 Z1000's exhaust pipes seem to be running really hot. Like they begin to glow a bit close to the heads after a few minutes of idling and if I ride it they get pretty bright. Is this normal operation for the Z1000's? If you have run into this before would you be able to tell me what fixed it? Otherwise it runs great, idles great and has lots of power. Im just worried about starting a fire or melting a piston. Its pretty new and has already had its first service. Id love to bring it to a dealer to have it diagnosed properly but they are booking 6-8 weeks out now..... ANY HELP AT ALL WOULD BE GREAT!

What was the resolution on this? Mine is doing the same thing only it happens after 30 mins of riding and my only dealer here is booking 3 months out...
