alot depends on different brand tires and wheels. I was running 28" mega mayhems on cf rims then switched to the 28x10x14"sedona mud rebel rt with sedona 14x7 rims on all 4 corners, sedonas are almost an inch taller measuring in at almost 29"

I use to worry about tipping over. I have found the 800 ex to be very stable and believe me when I say I've put it to the test.

I've got mine mounted in the rear slots with over 2000 miles on them and they are still there.
