Well this is the end of the story: changed the coolant temp sensor and took away the thermostat, but the overheating continued
, now with a new code: P0117. A friend found something about replacing a 10 Amp automatic fuse for a regular 15 amp fuse and bingo!!!!!
The cause of the problem is that the fan doesn't work all the necessary time, because apparently the fan 10 Amp automatic fuse works a little bit and rests a lot.
Actually this solution is detailed at https://cfmoto-forum.com/cforce-800-xc/overheating-fan-not-running-reset-ignition-works/msg39845/#msg39845 near the end of the thread.
So, it seems to be a common issue on this ATVs.

CForce 1000 / Cf1000 heating??
July 12, 2022, 06:36:17 PM
Hello, I'm new here. I have a 2019 CF1000, 2000 kms and normally rides with 3 bars on the temp indicator. There is a mountain I climb from time to time but some weeks ago when I got to the top, all of the bars went on and the P1116 code appeared. I took the ATV to the CFMoto dealer and they told me that it was something of the moment, everything was OK.
Last weekend I climbed the mountain again with a friend and same story. I noticed that the coolant reservoir had about an inch more of coolant but the fan was running ok. My radiator cap was much more hotter than my friend's 850 XC. When descending the mountain the bars returned to 3 but randomly raised to 5 or 6.
Hours later at home, I checked the coolant on the reservoir and had lowered to the full level (where it is normally).
The rad is clean as new, never mudded, I really treat my ATV like a baby.
1. Can I suppose the rad cap is OK?
2. Can the problem be the thermostat?
I'd appreciate any suggestions
