Hi guys, can the timing chain be replaced without removing the clutch cover and variator?

Hi everyone, I'm new, my name is Fabio and I live in Tenerife, Spain. My 2017 Zforce 550ex won't start. I've checked everything, but when I check the engine timing, it seems to be off. I removed the rpm sensor and found the line, then opened the valve box, but the lines on the sprocket don't seem to be straight. Do you think the chain has skipped a gear? The engine only starts when I accelerate, but below 2000 rpm it stalls and runs erratically. Engine pressure is 2.5 bar, but if I add oil to the spark plug, it reaches 9 bar. Any advice? The valves seem to have no space.
