I'm trying to locate the postion of the rectafier or voltage regulator on my 2023 zforce 800 gen 2 trail. The older models used to be under the back left fender well. But i'm not seeing it there anymore. Anyone have any idea's?

My running volts are 12.2 Volt

I checked the 40 amp chargeing fuse it's fine

I bench tested the battery under load it's fine. Checked all connections at the battery cleaned and added dielectric grease as well.

Like to check the connections at the voltage regulator - but can't seem to locate it.

I'm having the same issue, I can charge the battery but in my opinion the bike should be charging the battery. Makes me nervous to go far like this.

I can charge mine to full charge, drive it for 15 or 20 minutes come back put the charger on it and it says it's at 80% - Not a great feeling.

First noted the issue second time I drove it, stopped on the trail to do a uturn. Suddenly I had zero throttle response, then I shut it off and click click click. miles from home.

Going to buy a new battery for this thing and it better not let me down again or CFMoto won't like me much. 2 year old bike with a charging issue

So I charged the battery and took it for a 15 minute ride and the battery dropped to 80% which I think tells me it has a bad cell maybe? I did manage to get it to 100% full. I think it needs a new battery and maybe I will buy a maintainer for it as winter is almost here. Could be the charging system as well but everything looks good and seems to be putting out the required volts

Thoughts?

Thanks I did note after putting a charger on the battery it was sitting at 60%.

Also took the gas peddle out and serviced it the best I could. Looks new honestly but cleaned what I could and added dielectric grease to the connection. Just to keep any moisture out. Not that I drive in the lake but I like mud!
Tested and it started and the peddle is responding now. So we will see, I'll also take the battery out clean it up and tighten connections. Just snowed here so might be a day or two before I get to that.

Thanks

Last week, I traded in my 500 for an 800. During my second ride, I pulled over, stopped, and suddenly lost throttle response. Thinking it might be a throttle position sensor issue, I shut the bike off, put it in park, but all I heard was clicking. I tried putting it in neutral—same thing, just clicking.

At first, I thought it could be a battery issue, but that doesn't explain the sudden throttle loss.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what's the fix?

It's still under warranty, but I'm quite far from a dealer, so I'd prefer to troubleshoot this myself if possible.
