speedometer quit working

would anyone know where the speed sensor is located on a 2019 500s

As I recall, the 500's speed sensor is right above the dipstick.

do you think that would be the cause for the speedometer not to work.  the rest of the items on the cluster are ok

It is a solid reason and the first thing people check and/or replace.
