New ZForce 800 trail
« on: May 04, 2021, 05:57:32 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Just got our new zforce 800 trail late last week, and got a chance to get the tires dirty over the weekend.

There's a lot of information already in the forms, I've got a to-do list already.  For now, bone stock.  Uni airfilter already ordered, but it's not very dusty yet so I'm not too worried about it for the first day out.  I also have a wix oil filter on it's way, figure a quick oil change is in order as well, I have some honda oil for a bike I traded in, figured that would work during breakin, then I'll switch to Royal Purple.

You all were not crazy when you talk about the seatbelts, mine even seem all twisted up and backwards.

I also noticed the cvt really hits hard, even when trying to inch forward smoothly.  Need to look though posts for that, hoping it's just something with the breakin that smooths out a bit.

All in all, I think it's going to be a fun addition to our property.  So far, got it stuck (kind of) where it got wet on a hillclimb, winched a large log off a hill, and put 5 miles on it.  At this rate, I might have it broken in by next summer  ;)

I forgot to complain about the leg craps from pressing that brake pedal... there has got to be a fix for that.
