New Uforce 800 in Florida!
« on: July 03, 2016, 07:02:42 AM »
Hello,
Glad I ran across this forum! Picked up a Uforce 800EPS yesterday.  I did a lot of reasearch and drove alot of different UTVs before deciding on the Cf Moto.  I couldnt pass up the value you get and its a really great looking machine to boot.  I really liked the Polaris 900XP, but by the time I equipped it equally to the CF Moto, I was looking at over 16K.  I couldnt justify the extra 5K plus the dealerships are all so difficult to deal with.

I bought it from Mega 4x4 in Sanford, FL.  Saulo is awesome to deal with, I really like the way they do business, and they are really knowledagable about their product.  Anyone wanting to buy a CF in Florida, it's the place to go! I noticed he's a member here, and I'm sure its not the last time he'll see me.

I notice most of the posts are about the 800z not the Uforce.  I think they are pretty similar in most regards, and have found a couple of things I'm already going to mod. Ordered my unifilter already!  I do want to quiet the cab ride, get some heat out of the cab, and lift it. If anyone can point me to some info on those mods, I appreciate it!

I am having one slight concern... When taking off from H or L, it has a tendency to "buck" like a stick shift car if you pop the clutch too early. Im hoping this is just part of the break in and it will smooth out, but I am going to look at the throttle cable today to make sure there is no issue there.  Reverse seems to engage way too late and is a little fast to start. Any advice here would be appreciated!

I look forward to chatting with you guys and sharing info!
-Chris

Welcome to the group!! Congrats on the purchase.  And yes they are pretty much the same the U & Z. Glad that you got the UNI ordered. There is a whole section here devoted on the Uforce and to answer your question about "bucking" my Z does that as well (366 miles) I remember NMKawierider, myself, and another discussing this before. I've learned it does take some time learning how to ."finess" the throttle. Easy or Full throttle seems to work but somewhere in the middle it bucks (just when starting out) mid throttle while already moving no issues.
