Welcome. The fuel pumps are powered by a relay so first see if there is power to the pump when the key is on. If not, check the relay. Also make sure the kill-switch is in the run position as it lills power to it and ignition I believe.

There is no power to the wire to the fuel pump.  So I hock up a ground and a power wire to the fuel pump and it cuts in.

Then step two would be to see if there is power to the relay coil with the key in the ON position. Also check the fuses. May be just that simple.

At the top of the ZForce 600 section is the free service manual. It has all that info. Just download it. Good luck.

Think of a relay as an electric switch. There will be power going to two different places- one is to the circuit the switch energizes when closed, the other is to the coil of the switch/relay which will close the switch when it does have power..which is usually when you turn the key on. With the key off, there should be no power on that wire and the relay will not close to send power to..in this case...the fuel pump. If there is not a wiring diagram in the Z6 manual, try the wiring diagram listed in the Z8 section. I would think it would be the same

Did you check all the micro fuses? As I recall on the Z8s the fuel pump has it's own. On the Z8s they are clipped to the right side of the steering column in a small black ..thing you wouldn't think was a fuse box.

From what I can tell from the horrible diagram pin 22 from the ECU powers the relay coil...so it should only have power when the key is on. If I recall, t also is part of what they call a "Triggered" system so it effects other systems as well. Is there any other system that doesn't work..like Oil pressure light, coolant temp...ect?

I got to fuel pump working it's something that don't make sence. The battery was dead so I have a brand new rv battery with boOster cables on the dead battery that is good battery. I was reading here on the fourm that one guy had same trouble and hook up a new battery to the + and- from the machine and it work. So I did that and it work.
