New to cfmoto.. have owned many atvs.. still own a Kawasaki brute force and a Honda rancher.. wife and I decided to join the side by side world.. did A TON of research on cfmoto.. for the price, and what you get, it seemed to be the best choice.. but before I pick it up from the dealership I'm having him relocate the air box with a snorkel kit so the air box will be located under the roof in the rear and the system will be double filtered.. it's my understanding that's the FIRST THING YOU DO WITH THESE BEFORE YOU EVEN RIDE IT?
Any advice is appreciated.. I'm no nubie to the atv world, and do all of my own maintenance

Oh.. and I'll throw that stock paper filter in the stock air box in the trash and get a uni for sure!. I've already read about the lip

Welcome. YES, at the very least get rid of that stock filter and go with the Unifilter...and a good oil. Most of us use and trust Maxima FAB-1 and it's cleaner.

Thx for the info.. I've been riding for 25 years and never understood why ANYONE would run a paper filter in an atv or utv.. makes no sense to me

MTRIDER, welcome.  I don't know if your dealer relocates the battery, but moving it to under the driver's seat makes access much more convenient.
