New owner of Used 2021 Uforce 1000
« on: December 07, 2021, 06:51:48 PM »
I just picked up a Uforce 100 with very low miles. It came with a plow, Super ATV doors, windshield and rear tinted window, and 30" tires with 2" wheel spacers. It's really a nice ride, and it will likely be worked hard on the farm. Good thing it came with the transferrable CFMoto Care 6 year warranty!

I was initially looking for a Intimidator, Ranger or Defender, but since they are Unobtainium around here, I decided that a Uforce would be a better value. CFMoto seemed to have payed attention to customers and really honed their products over the last several years. After putting it through some tests today, it seems quite smooth and stout.

The only thing annoying is the rattling noise at idle which seems to be coming from the clutch - probably the weights. Is this an known issue?

I'm looking forward to benefit, and then contribute to the knowledge here. Thanks.

Nice find I love mine
The clutch’s do make some noise
But there’s also a hose clamped on clam style heat shield on the exhaust pipe
Right behind the passenger
It makes a pile of noise at idle
When not tight Give that a check

It's not the clamp. It's definitely coming from the clutch, and it sounds like the slider weights.

Congrats on new ride.  Larger tires + spacers look great, but have some drawbacks.

There are folks on YT that report ball-joint and bushing issues with larger tires and wheel spacers over 1".  You may want to keep an eye  on them as a normal ride-check thing.  IIRC, the rear seems to be more of an issue than the front.   Check YT for these kinds of things.

YMMV

Yeah, I was thinking about removing them altogether. I don't think it would be inadequately stable as designed, especially with the shocks cranked.
