Greeting All

I did a WY mule deer hunt last fall where we used side x sides to get into the high country.  After that I realized I really needed to trade my quad in for a UTV. I live rural and any side x side is street legal here so I can take it into town or to the local supper club etc. I settled on a CF Moto UForce 800 and my initial experience has been pretty good.
I added a two gun soft rifle bag on the rear of cab along with a windshield and soft top.
Dog and I went grouse hunting in northern Wisconsin this past week and put on about 75 miles. Dog and I would ride the trails until we found a nice piece of cover where we would dismount and hunt the edges. Took a few birds and got to know the vehicle.
.......
Break in Cliches
I stopped to hunt a section well off the road and when I returned the unit would not start. Quick check under the hood found nothing amiss so I snapped out the started assembly relay and rapped it with my pliers. Popped the relay back in and the 800 fired right up. Relay must have malfunctioned.
.......
I also found the rear light wiring harness section had fallen of the main wiring harness. Based on how hard it was to put the connection together I concluded it was never properly fastened at the factory.
.......
I always like to be prepared so I have a complete metric tool set, air pump, tire patch, fix a flat, thermostat fan switch and now an extra electrical relay in a water tight bag under the drivers seat. If I head back to WY I'll also ad a spare tire.
.........
Be interested to know if anyone else has had an issue with the relays plus any thoughts on what else I should have in the tool bag.
........
Have Fun
If you can't fix it with a hammer it's an electric problem

Welcome to the club!

Good choice on the 800 UZ, I really the extra room & layout in the cab. I installed a set of Elka Stage 1 shocks & springs to get ride of the bone jarring ride in the rough stuff.

Nice that you are able to drive on the street! Our small town the council is working on bylaws to allow access to the trial heads. Cops are dead set against it  ::)

Good that you are packing a spare relay, I've not seen much for electrical issue's other than POS fan sensor. The rear box is installed by the dealer & they plug the connector in.
ZF 800 LX Trail, stock for now.......not for long.
