Just picked up a new Z800EX Saturday in Albuquerque. We brought it over to Quartzsite, AZ yesterday and plan on putting a few hours on it over the next 3 weeks or so. 70 degrees here today with even warmer temps predicted for the near future. Ordered a R2C filter and will relocate air intake shortly.
I think the hardest part will be waiting for the breakin hours to be completed

Welcome and congrats! I have friends that winder in Florence that live in Rio Rancho I ride with. I do sometimes go out and visit then during the winter..maybe not this year though. Maybe we can get together and do some rides during the summer here. Oh..I am in Albuquerque

Welcome.  I'm a big fan of R2C filters myself.  Love the ability to clean, wash, and reuse them.
