Just bought a 17 800ex.  Love it so far!  I've been reading the board threads a lot and looks like I need a new air filter ASAP!  Any other bugs to check for would be great!  Thanks a Bunch!

welcome to the site!  Air filter is a must.  On these it seems pretty common that you should grease all fittings (sometimes they forget to from the factory) and check all bolts you can get to for tightness (suspension and steering bolts are a must to check).  Let us know if you have any questions and dont worry about the upside down picture.  It happens

Like Chuddly says, air filter is a MUST before you even run it we recommend...unless they have started putting the new foam filters in at the factory. Just check. And yes, all the bolts especially all suspension, engine and drivetrain components, brake calipers....and anything else you can get too. Grease all suspension right a way first then once again after your first ride. Always jack it up before greasing a-arms so the grease goes where it should.
