New CFMOTO 675ss in las vegas
« on: May 03, 2025, 09:15:50 PM »
Just checking in to the forum, not sure how active it is around here. I’m from Vegas and just got the 675ss so still in the break in, but I gotta say I’m loving this bike. Iv had a ninja 300 and gsxr600 in the past . Anyway I’ll be around the forum to see how much activity there is. Ride safe

Welcome to the forum. I can't say that the site is overly "active" but there are a couple people on here that are very knowledgeable and check the forum daily. I'm not overly knowledgeable, but I do like to post the photos from my rides, which hopefully I will be able to take my first one of the year this coming weekend.

Thanks for the welcome, here’s a pic of my 675. I been looking for a rear fender delete, everything is almost 200$ shipping from China so looks like I’m gonna have to make one, I don’t know why they switched to the light bar from the integrated tail light. You guys have a hard time finding parts for your cfm ? And how many years have you had yours, reliability good ?

Mine was a 650TK. Reliability was great, never had any problems, parts from local dealer. Did 44,000 ml before a landcrusier pulled out of driveway in front of me. Would buy another tomorrow if I could.

I’m sorry to hear that about your 650, but it’s nice to know they can be reliable, mine is running flawlessly right now, the gear box feels a little clunky but Iv never had a slipper clutch so it might just be that, but overall I think this is the perfect bike for around town and being able to play a little now and then

My TK was the full fairing and panniers version, looked like a smaller Honda ST1100 (which I had before losing it to a fire) and the full 70HP version (in Australia they also came in a restricted 35HP version for learner riders). At no time did it feel lacking in power and always kept up with other bikes I rode with. The handling was as good as the Honda ST but 120Kg lighter made for an easier time when manouvering in the shed. Maintence was easy and most components lasted well (30,000 from the original chain) and easy on tyres (12 to 16,000 depend on brand, liked the Pirelli best) and the suspension coped well with the crap roads in Aus.
Still like the CF Moto brand and have a 500cc quad and 250cc V5 that have done sterling service.

well, I was on my way to work today and out of nowhere the bike just shut off on me....I was coming into a turn in 4th gear and pulled the clutch to downshift and the bike just shut off. I have no clue why, but I rolled to the side of the road and the bike started right up, I'm hoping its something stupid like the kickstand sensor. not feeling great about this tho
