Ive got a 22 and a 23.
Stay right on with your maintenance . . .
They are really quite easy to work on once you know them a bit.
BREAK IT IN before you go getting hyped up about tune and mods.
If you want better application of power to the ground look at clutch kits first.
A GOOD filter (Uni Filter NU-8703ST) is a good upgrade.
Ive played with mine a bit and found that a solid clutch kit gave me far better results than "tunes and ecu mods".
Not knocking ANYONES tunes, mind . . just stating a simple reality that unless you can get to a dyno and have someone tune YOUR bike to YOUR riding habits . . . yor just putting someone elses idea of "how you should be riding" on your machine.
But in my case I ride trail and a lot of all day rides. (I cover 80 - 120 miles just goofing off)
Not really mudding or racing, and 90% of the tunes out there are for mudding or racing, not for peaking and tweaking for best overall.
I like my first one well enough I bought a second one . .
I've found that unless your going mud racing or mudding or racing these are pretty good all around machines.
Theyve got plenty of grunt and they will go almost freeway fast without any help. (clocked mine at 72mph)
BREAK IN BREAK IN BREAK IN . . .
Break it in right.
